Welcome to another ENOUGH ROPE On the Road special. Our chance to get out of the studio and talk to people in different parts of Australia to see how they are managing with the most difficult subject - Life 101. Over the last 18 months I have been visiting one of the most isolated and spectacular regions in Australia, the Kimberley Ranges. Three thousand kilometres north of Perth, 800 kilometres south-west of Darwin, the West Autralian township of Kununurra has only existed since 1961. Originally built as a service town for the Ord River irrigation scheme, Kununurra, a community of 7000, sits in the middle of ancient red rocks carved through by rivers and waterfalls. It is a physical landscape that is awesome to see.
