About Our Guest: Kimberly Camp’s paintings and dolls have appeared in over 100 solo and group exhibitions. She is the recipient of two NEA fellowships and the Kellogg National Leadership Program Fellowship. She has been featured in Essence, Nouvel Objet, FiberArts, National Geographic World, the Village Voice and Smithsonian. Camp received the 2020 Award of Excellence: Art Makes Us Human award from the American Craft Council, and the Gold Medal Best of Show at the 2021 Peter’s Valley Craft Fair. 

Camp has, throughout her career, worked with government officials and leaders in the area branding and re-positioning arts organizations for increased support and engagement including raising over $70 million and spearheading the resurrection of The Barnes Foundation and the Charles Wright Museum in Detroit. A visual artist with over 50 years of exhibition experience, Camp brings a wealth of diverse experience to bear, and a reputation of results-driven planning.
