I had no idea I was missing this podcast in my life. Who knew video game scores had so much BACKSTORY?? These guys take so much care in presenting their topics, and research it really well. I can’t wait to listen to more episodes!

As a music buff myself, this is an absolute treat for those who know a lot or a little about film/TV music. These guys know what they’re talking about and keep you listening for more. Film scores move us in more ways than one, and they will help you find that movement in each episode.

This is a good one! These guys have a knowledge and appreciation for music, and that comes through in every aspect of the show. The format is great! Each show has a theme and the 3 hosts will each present a soundtrack as the ultimate example of that theme. I listened to the 90s Soundtrack Debate and the episode on Stoner Films. Both were great episodes. Highly recommend! 👍👍

If I had to even out a score for this I would give it a 5/5! Absolutely terrific show run by a great group of people talking about all your pop culture needs. From games to movies to even comics they have it covered and break things down in a way that really feels welcoming. Be sure to give them a listen!

The hosts of this podcast have a reverence for music that shines through in their discussions. I appreciate that they look at scores from all kinds of media, not just movies. The sound bites are perfect complements to the discussion as well.

I love this show. I started by listening to their 8-bit and Beyond episode about video game scores. So. Much. Fun. It took me back to my childhood and made me nostalgic for some amazing video game music. I can’t wait to listen to more of this terrific show. The hosts are smart and easy to listen to.
