“Want me to give you a ride?” This 7-word solicitous question may sound like an offer to help that deserves appreciation. But for three young women in Cleveland, Ohio who accepted the ride, it was a decision they would regret for a long time. The invitation turned out to be a bait for a kidnapping spree perpetrated by Ariel Castro, a self-confessed sex and pornography addict. He abducted and imprisoned three women in his home for a decade, and subjected them to constant physical  abuse, sexual assault, emotional battery, induced abortion and unwanted pregnancy.
