Our thankful thought for today is this: Play is a very important part of life. Yes, play — doing something fun, transformative, and invigorating that does not involve work, but in the long run impacts our work and our daily lives.

Our quote of thanks is from Maya Angelou. She said, “I work very hard, and I play very hard. I'm grateful for life. And I live it--I believe life loves the liver of it. I live it.”

Our Bible verse of thanks is Psalm 118:29 (NLT). It reads, “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.”
