Our thankful thought for today is this: While we must avoid being selfish, we should strive to practice self-awareness. We don’t arrive at self-awareness all in one day or all at the same time, and for many of us, we don’t fully arrive one hundred percent at all.

Our quote of thanks is from C. Neil Strait. He said, “He who forgets the language of gratitude can never be on speaking terms with happiness.”

Our Bible verse of thanks is Psalm 134:2 (NLT). It reads, “Lift your hands toward the sanctuary, and praise the Lord.”
