I'm an identikit non-WASP Guardian-reading left-wing hater of what's happened to the World since 2016 (and earlier). So why did I hate the Dr Seuss episode so much? Because a piece of copybook Anti-Semitism was allowed to pass without edit or apology with regard to a subject who wasn't even Jewish. If Russell Kane was a better and cleverer comedian (or at least as good as he keeps reminding us he is) the guest would have been properly put in their place. But in a thoroughly one-sided hatchet job it was ironic that such bigotry crept through barely acknowledged and with no apology.
