You’ve probably heard of Stonewall, but what about the Bath Raids? OUTtv’s true crime documentaries, Killer in the Village, The Cobra Killers and Surviving the Block, each detail a different part of modern LGBTQ+ history. In the final episode, Justice Harvey conducts an Examination in Chief to learn more about Canada’s unique queer history and why it’s important to learn more.

Justice Brownstone is joined by queer criminalization historian, Dr. Tom Hooper, and, the LGBTQ Liaison for the Toronto Police Service, Danielle Bottineau.

*Editor’s Note: The podcast mentions the documentary “Cobra Killer,” however the correct name of the film is The Cobra Killers.

This podcast was made in association with the Canada Media Fund.
