We’re back for another analysis of a classic ‘ER’ episode. This time, it’s ‘Hell and High Water’ from the second season.
This episode sees Dr. Doug Ross play the hero when he rescues a young boy who is trapped in a storm drain. As a result, our favourite paediatrician ends up on the TV news and gets to keep his job.
We talk about how ‘Hell and High Water’ made George Clooney a star and led to him landing the role of Batman (even if the movie itself wasn’t all that great…) and how it helped redeem Doug as a character.
