Sue and Kendra talked with Anne-Marie Sousa, the Founder and Board Chair of Catie’s Closet, a non-profit organization that transforms unused areas inside schools into safe, welcoming spaces where students in grades pre K through 12th grade can discreetly shop (free of charge) for clothing, toiletries and other necessities. Anne-Marie founded this organization in honor of her daughter Catie, who passed away in 2010, at the age of 20. Today they operate closets in 120 schools and serve more than 80,000 students daily.
