One of the most sobering sentiments in politics in recent years is something Vice President Mike Pence pointed out during his tenure – that the number of families choosing abortion is roughly the same as the number of families hoping to adopt. It’s a tragedy that adoption still has a stigma and that the process is often very complicated and very expensive.
