My fav actual play podcast is Explorers Wanted! As a regular, weekly Numenera show it offers excellent levels of sound quality, amazing storytelling, character & background building, atmospheric music beautiful editing & sound effects from GM & players. Two campaigns and hundreds of episodes! Mature language, LBGTQ- friendly! Fulls of Cinematic Adventure, professionalism and memorable laughs! Check them out!

This podcast has great chemistry among the players and GM, awesome quality, and the production really helps increase the immersion. The players do a great job working together and fleshing out their characters. You can tell that they are all in when they even choose to send their character to do things they are hesitant on but feel it's what the character would do. Also really enjoy the depth of lore the story has and how it continues to amp up this urgency of opening up The Next Door. Really was digging the moral conversation of how the certain civilizations needed to be saved, even if they might be viewed as "bad". Great job with the podcast, really enjoying hearing another Numenera Actual Play !

For me, the biggest draw of Explorers Wanted is how simple it is to feel connected to the cast and characters. With some actual play podcasts, it might take a handful of episodes to remember everyone's names, but here, everyone is so delightfully full of personality that you could never mistake one for another. It has strong storytelling, humor, constantly evolving mysteries, intrigue among hidden factions, and an immersive interpretation of the Ninth World setting.

Numenera is one of my favourite games. Full stop. The simplicity of the rules is such a selling point and the Explorers Wanted AP maximises this *in spades*. The characters are well developed, the GM handles the game and rules in a no nonsense manner and the story itself is compelling and in depth but not so hopelessly convoluted that you can't follow it.
