Through the thick bushes , like very , very

0:07

low to the ground , what appear to

0:09

be like almost on the ground . I

0:12

pick up a third set of eyeshines and

0:22

, as I pointed out , my eyes were not too

0:25

locked . I kept looking at that bird's eyes

0:27

and I'm watching that bird's

0:29

eyes shine . All starting

0:31

is starting from the what appears to be

0:33

on the ground . It's starting to raise up

0:35

. Next , you know , you've seen

0:37

that .

0:37

0:41

going on , everybody , and welcome back to another episode

2:31

comment down below . Is

2:34

a hot dog a sandwich ? Because

2:36

a hot dog is a sandwich .

2:38

I don't know . I mean it's between two pieces of bread , so why can't it be a

2:40

sandwich ? I mean , I don't know . I mean there's a lot of people that would argue that it's a hot

2:42

pieces of bread so I couldn't be sandwiched .

2:44

I mean , I don't know . I mean there's a lot of people that would

2:46

argue that it's a hot dog like that's

2:48

. That's it .

2:49

There's nothing else like it I

2:51

could say yes , but I mean , if

2:53

you eat a hot dog without a bun

2:55

, then rocking

2:58

up that could be a hot dog , but with

3:00

me , I'm walking in this

3:02

sandwich

3:04

.

3:04

I mean , I'm not arguing , I'm biased about it

3:06

, to be honest .

3:11

4:04

4:12

way that you can . We have a contact

4:14

page on our website , but

4:17

we've had some people reach out to us through Facebook

4:19

. However , you got to do

4:21

it , get a hold of us , because we would love to have

4:23

you on to talk about your experience .

4:26

Yes , let's talk about Daniel Vanglund .

4:29

Yes , yeah , daniel was amazing

4:32

to talk to . He had a lot

4:34

to say . Yeah , I'll tell you that

4:36

.

4:36

A lot to say .

4:38

It was really cool , though I had a good time talking to

4:40

Daniel . Daniel

4:42

is an author . He

4:45

is also founder and wildlife

4:47

researcher of the east coast bigfoot

4:49

organization . Uh , you

4:51

can find his youtube channel . Uh

4:53

, it's called bigfoot zone and

4:56

he's actually the one that's hosting the pa

4:59

myths and legends . That's how we

5:01

we got put onto that .

5:04

Yeah , thank you , daniel , so not

5:06

necessarily into that .

5:08

Yeah , thank you so much

5:10

. I'm ready to jump into this , you ready to jump into this

5:12

, let's do it , let's

5:15

go . Yeah , and so , uh

5:17

, daniel , daniel , benoit

5:19

, right , am I pronouncing that correctly ?

5:21

Yeah , absolutely pronouncing that correctly yeah , absolutely all

5:23

right .

5:23

I was worried that I was going to say it incorrectly oh

5:27

, no , no , no , you're good .

5:29

No , there's actually two ways of pronouncing

5:31

it . Um , it's actually

5:33

benoit , which is actually the american

5:36

pronunciation , and then , of course , we got benoit

5:38

, so a lot of people know

5:40

the name benoit , either from other

5:43

French affiliations down in Louisiana

5:46

or it's the

5:48

Canadian side of things , because you know it

5:50

is the Canadian French name . Yeah

5:52

, of course they

5:54

know out in France . They know the name Benoit

5:56

out there , but I don't know how common of

5:59

a French name it is in France compared

6:01

to where it is up in Canada or down south . But

6:06

yeah , so

6:09

yeah , that's

6:11

awesome .

6:14

So you do Bigfoot research and you're also

6:17

a cryptozoologist , correct ?

6:19

Yes , that's correct , and I actually just

6:21

got back from the woods doing some camping .

6:24

Oh nice .

6:26

Yeah , I have a lot of video footage and

6:28

part one just finished finally uploading

6:31

, so I just got a notification on my phone .

6:34

That's awesome .

6:35

Yeah , I was checking out your YouTube . You spend a lot of time

6:37

out there .

6:38

I try . To Every opportunity I can

6:41

, I

6:43

try to jump out there because I can't get enough of it

6:45

. So my fiance , julie

6:47

, me and her , we've done a lot of camping together ourselves

6:49

. She actually recently

6:51

got me involved with hammock camping so

6:54

, and so I'm still new to that . I

6:56

got some adjustments to the

6:58

workout along the ways , but it's , it's

7:00

fun . I will say that it's fun , except

7:03

don't go camping in the pouring rain and

7:05

it's really cold . You'll be miserable . I'm

7:11

not camping in the rain and all kinds of weather

7:14

, but hammock camping . Since I'm new to it , I

7:16

get better situated and more

7:18

organized on that . I'll

7:24

make do just for the warm weather with that for

7:26

now .

7:27

Yeah , it sounds like it'd be a good time , for

7:29

sure .

7:30

Oh yeah , it is .

7:33

So tell us , how did you get into Bigfoot

7:35

research and cryptozoology ?

7:39

Well , as I share and tell a lot

7:41

of people . Well , first of all , let

7:43

me back up as I shared and tell a lot of

7:45

people . Well , first of all , let me back up , I've always had a serious enjoyment

7:48

and respect and appreciation for

7:50

the outdoors . I

7:53

love playing in the woods , I mean , I love hiking and exploring

7:55

. But you know , it

7:57

was just like for a lot

7:59

of people , people

8:02

. It was that 1967 famous Roger

8:04

Patterson and Bob Gimlin video-related

8:07

Bigfoot footage that actually

8:09

struck us . It put

8:12

the spark in me and that spark exploded

8:14

. You

8:16

know , everybody's been fascinated

8:18

with that film . That film has been

8:21

debated over years , I

8:23

mean to this day . There's some diehard believers

8:25

on it . Also , there's

8:28

a lot of doubters about it . You

8:31

know everything I saw that's gone

8:34

into it . I mean , I've been a believer for

8:36

many years on it . Then

8:38

again , certain other things get brought up and

8:40

brought into the light that make you scratch your

8:43

head and make you wonder could it

8:45

be this or that ? Because

8:49

I'll be honest with you , although a lot of people

8:51

do not want to admit to it , there is some

8:53

red flags involved with it . I

8:57

don't want to get into that because everybody wants

8:59

to shoot me there's

9:01

so many supporters of it . But

9:03

I will tell you again , that's what got me involved with this in the first place . But so many supporters of it ? But I will tell you again , that's what got me involved

9:05

with this in the first place , but a big part

9:08

of it , not the only thing , but it is

9:10

a big part of what got me involved . And

9:12

, um , yeah

9:15

, it's uh . You know , like I said , that spark

9:17

, um , you know , grew

9:20

into that spark of curiosity

9:22

, grew into a passion . You

9:24

know it had me not

9:27

just going out to the woods anymore , it had me

9:29

actually looking , um , my

9:31

, my height , my senses heightened and

9:33

everything . I was so more alert

9:35

, you know , uh , just

9:38

in touch with everything that's out there . And

9:40

I tell you it's

9:42

uh , it done , it's done a lot

9:44

for me and I appreciate what that video

9:47

footage has done . Like

9:49

I said , it opened a whole new world to me . So

9:51

I really do appreciate what it's done . You

9:55

know it's had me looking more

9:58

closely and listening and

10:00

you know , a lot of little things started

10:02

to stand out , a lot of things were noticed

10:05

. You know I

10:07

have found tracks over the years , some

10:10

questionable , but some . I believe

10:12

, without doubt , that they do belong

10:14

to a large

10:16

humanoid subject . You know

10:18

, yeah , we like to call Bigfoot

10:20

a Sasquatch , so

10:24

yeah , like

10:28

to call bigfoot or sasquatch , so um . So yeah , he , uh , I will say this from

10:30

the early beginning of this podcast say bigfoot is out there and

10:32

bigfoot is alive and well , so , oh , I believe it absolutely

10:35

.

10:35

Have you ever casted any of them tracks ?

10:38

oh yeah , absolutely . Um , I do have a collection

10:41

of them , a lot of my cast . I have not

10:43

made a cast from pennsylvania . A

10:45

lot of my cast . I have not made

10:47

a cast from Pennsylvania yet , but most of

10:49

my cast come from the state of Virginia , so

10:51

I found out in the .

10:52

George Washington National Forest . Okay , yeah

10:56

, is that where ?

10:58

you reside ? Yeah , I'm in Pennsylvania . I've

11:00

been living in Pennsylvania for the last five months now . I

11:02

live up here with my fiance . We'll be married

11:04

here next month .

11:06

Congratulations .

11:07

Oh , thank you Absolutely . And

11:10

yeah , I

11:12

grew up in Virginia . I'm originally from the state of Massachusetts

11:14

. However , it was age

11:17

11 when me

11:19

and my family moved to Virginia . Dad's

11:22

job brought us down there . He's

11:24

been long retired , of course , so

11:27

I've gotten to learn a lot of the wildlife and

11:31

the wilderness and the forest in Virginia

11:33

. I've had a touch

11:35

of knowledge and experience

11:37

here in Pennsylvania several years ago

11:39

in my earlier part of my

11:42

research and exploring

11:44

. Yes

11:47

, several years ago , I actually spent two months in pennsylvania

11:50

. Um , I took advantage of that time and I I

11:52

spent a lot of time out in the woods exploring

11:54

and , uh , just to look around

11:57

and see what I can come across , and it's been

11:59

quite fascinating , pretty interesting . And that

12:01

was actually over in bedford , um

12:03

, bedford , pennsylvania , over

12:05

around shiny state park . So , okay

12:07

, beautiful area . Uh , I definitely want to get

12:09

back there again . I think it needs more

12:11

time , uh , more , yeah

12:14

, more time spent there . I should be more specific

12:16

on that . More time spent there , um

12:19

needs to be observed more so

12:21

, um , but

12:23

, um , I'll tell you right here in Somerset

12:26

, pennsylvania , in surrounding areas

12:28

. It's been very rewarding

12:30

. There's some images

12:32

of stuff I haven't yet that I'm going to include

12:35

in my video footage for my

12:37

recent campout , because

12:39

, if not everything's on video , some of it's

12:41

just on pictures , where I think I'll

12:44

pop that in , include that on the video

12:46

when I get ready to upload all that . But , like

12:48

I said , I uh , part

12:51

one , just finish uploading . It's like 97

12:53

minutes or whatever . I

12:56

have a lot more . Hopefully I should be able to get the rest of it

12:58

in . On part two , um , cause

13:00

I , like I said , every

13:06

now and then I'll add an image in there and um , you know , because , like I said , some of my findings

13:08

, if I find anything cool or interesting , I try to , you know , I'll

13:10

pop it up on the screen , either as an overlay

13:12

or by itself . So , um

13:14

, so , yeah , um

13:16

, of course , if you guys want to check

13:18

that out , I'll , I will . Well

13:20

, it's actually not public it because I have it scheduled to

13:22

air tomorrow , so okay

13:24

but that , yeah , um , if

13:27

you guys want to check that out , I'll try to share the link after

13:30

some time , after we get off here my

13:32

YouTube channel , bigfoot Zone , ecbro

13:34

. So if you guys want to follow that

13:37

, check that out , feel free to . But

13:39

, like I said , I'll definitely make sure I share it on my timeline

13:41

. I'm usually sharing stuff around

13:43

in other groups , so , yeah , I'm usually sharing stuff

13:46

around in other groups , so , but , um , yeah , um , so yeah

13:48

, I got that to look forward to but that's

13:51

cool , yeah , and we'll

13:54

be sure to put that link down the show notes for people

13:56

to be able to find it easier . Oh

13:58

, absolutely , I appreciate that too . Yeah , for

14:00

sure , for sure so

14:02

, um , I know I'm into rambling

14:05

and stuff . I can go on about this whatever , but

14:07

if you don't mind me just throwing it out kind of early

14:09

, um , yeah , I , I do believe

14:11

I spoke to you , luke , about it . As far as

14:13

um , the upcoming event that me

14:15

and my fiancee are hosting right here

14:17

in somerset , uh , we're very excited

14:19

for it . Um may

14:22

25th at the bakersfield Community

14:24

Grove Park right here in Somerset , we

14:27

really think we're going to have a great

14:30

turnout , an amazing turnout . It's

14:32

been getting a huge response to

14:35

the Pennsylvania Myths and Legends Festival

14:37

that's taking place there . I

14:40

mean , a lot of work has been put into this . We

14:43

got roughly nearly around 70

14:45

vendors for this event and

14:47

food trucks and all kinds of arts

14:50

and crafts artists themselves

14:53

and a lot of Bigfoot

14:55

and other cryptid themed vendors are well

14:57

involved with this and

14:59

shout out . And you know , and thanks

15:01

to mr joe fogel for those

15:03

who know joe fogel from johnstown

15:05

, uh , he's the man behind the scenes

15:08

of the uh squants , uh

15:10

squants of palooza festival up in johnstown

15:12

. Um , me and him good friends

15:14

. He's , uh , he's been a vendor of mine and I

15:17

host an event in virginia every june

15:19

. Uh , he's been a vendor of mine

15:21

down there every year and , uh

15:23

, he's been a great help gathering

15:25

and sending vendors my way for this event

15:28

. So , um , I

15:30

really do appreciate everything he's done . Uh

15:32

, he's gone out of his way to send me a lot of his

15:34

vendors and he's got a great reputation

15:36

. So his vendors had no problem jumping on board

15:38

with me . You know , uh , seeing

15:40

that he's he backed , you know

15:42

he's backing me on all all this . He's

15:44

been doing his event for so

15:46

many years now , like

15:48

I said , he's got a good name for himself . He

15:51

knows me real well so he had no problem sticking

15:53

his neck out and throwing

15:56

his vendors towards me . That's

16:00

where most of my vendors come from . Funny

16:04

note is too , about that . Real quick , I had one lady

16:06

commented I wish you weren't so

16:08

far away . I wish you guys would come to Johnstown

16:11

. I said , well , all of my vendors

16:13

are coming from Johnstown . I said you're only 30 minutes

16:15

away , so why don't you take a ride ? Get out

16:17

. Get out of your living room . I

16:19

don't get why people think things are so far

16:22

away from them . I say I don't get why people think things are so

16:24

far away from them where it's like come on , live a little , get out of your comfort zone

16:26

. You know , I got people coming from out

16:28

of state North Carolina , west Virginia

16:30

. I mean I got people coming from several hours away

16:32

. I mean I don't see what the big deal is . You're

16:34

local , they're not . You know , come on

16:36

out , stop being a bummer , you know .

16:39

Yeah , it's like my Virginia , my virginia event .

16:41

I got people coming from oklahoma

16:43

and , uh , you know , I got people . Yeah

16:47

, I got people from different parts of the united states coming out to

16:49

my virginia event . So , I

16:52

mean , I mean it is what it is

16:54

. But , you know , people look at these

16:56

events and say , man , it's so far away . Yeah

16:59

, you just , you'd be surprised how many people

17:01

dedicated themselves to that

17:03

want to get together with other like-minded people

17:05

. Um , you know , because

17:08

these events , yeah , people share stories and

17:10

love people love that . You know , um

17:12

, the guest speakers that we have , people

17:14

get to hear their stories , their experience

17:16

, their knowledge . You know , um

17:18

, and the big part of why I host

17:21

these events is not just for the entertainment

17:23

for the public , but it's to spread

17:25

awareness of what we do , what

17:28

we know . A lot of people fail

17:33

to realize that because you have these other

17:35

events here on the East Coast I'm

17:37

not going to mention no names , but down around Tennessee

17:40

and so forth a lot of people have turned these

17:42

into what I call

17:44

corporate events , uh , commercial events

17:47

, because they use the programs

17:49

to hire in the big tv personalities

17:51

and they use a tv personality

17:53

to draw in the crowd . Rather than let's

17:56

get the boots on the ground people let's look at . Let's find

17:58

the guys that really do this . You know , no

18:00

, they need to do what's . Let's draw in the

18:02

crowd with bringing celebrities , now

18:04

, I love , I had no problem against bringing

18:07

celebrities , but when you make your event all about

18:09

the celebrities versus the

18:11

real deal , that's where

18:13

I have an issue with that . Yeah , I've

18:16

been approached by the TV

18:19

personality , celebrity management

18:22

people and , yeah

18:24

, I would love to have those people , but , uh

18:26

, it's not in my budget . You know um

18:28

, I can only do so much , you know

18:31

um , but yeah , uh

18:33

, we do try to include people when we're able to . Uh

18:35

, tv personality um , for

18:38

those who know turtle man , we had turtle man in

18:40

virginia last year , all the way up from oh yeah , oh yeah . Yeah

18:43

, he was a great success . He

18:46

had his own crowd that came out for him . You

18:48

know which was awesome .

18:50

That's really cool .

18:51

A lot of people wanted us to bring him back , but

18:53

he jumped way up on prices , so

18:56

that was out of our budget . So

18:59

, yeah , some of these guys get extra

19:01

popular with some of these particular

19:03

events and then they that's up our prices

19:06

. Well then , nope , you lost

19:08

that money because you

19:10

could have got a little bit . You could

19:12

have got what you got the year before , but you got greedy

19:14

. Yeah

19:18

, I understand , sometimes you do got to go up in prices

19:21

because nothing's cheap

19:23

, no more . Anyway

19:26

, I'm sorry , I cut , you cut you off .

19:27

No , you're good man . I didn't know that

19:29

there were so many events out there until we

19:31

started really talking to people like

19:33

it's all over the place uh

19:36

, well , um , yeah , there is a lot of

19:38

new ones .

19:39

I got friends of mine that want to start

19:41

things up in their areas . I was like , well , I mean you

19:43

got to be dedicated to it . I mean I've had people that start to start things up in their areas . I was like

19:45

, well , I mean you got to be dedicated to it . I mean I've had people that start

19:48

stuff up , like here in Pennsylvania , pennsylvania is

19:50

a great place for locations Like

19:52

I mean . They got the Forest County Bigfoot Festival

19:55

out in Marionville . I

19:57

spoke there last year . Oh my

19:59

gosh , that was a huge event . That

20:01

was a big turnout

20:04

and because there's people who people

20:06

came out from Ohio and all the surrounding

20:08

areas . I drove six hours from you know , I

20:10

was living in Virginia , it was a six hour

20:12

drive for me and I love to drive and

20:22

so , yeah , that's a big event . That's been going on for you know , so many years three or four , maybe

20:24

five years now , I don't't know . Um , and then of course , they'd go east to me . You got , uh

20:27

, gwendoline purcell , a real

20:29

good friend of mine . Um , I've spoken at events

20:31

with her . Uh , she started

20:33

her event up last year , great

20:35

success , um , you know . So

20:38

now she's doing her second year event . Um

20:40

, you know , I think her event's gonna be a little

20:42

bit bigger this year . She had

20:44

a great turnout for her first year event . Kudos

20:49

to her for what she's doing . She's

20:51

investing a little bit more Right

20:55

here , like I was talking about earlier

20:58

, somerset . I think this is why I

21:00

just have this feeling Somerset's

21:02

right in that , from what I'm I'm picking

21:04

up , you got Johnstown , just above us , you

21:06

know , and then you got these

21:08

other surrounding towns , and so

21:10

I mean I think Somerset's going

21:13

to explode . I really think Somerset's going to

21:15

go big . I mean that'd

21:18

be great , because me and Julie's already been

21:20

talking about another venue that might provide

21:22

more space . Um , only because

21:24

, like we had , I would love to have

21:27

more vendors . But I think the 70

21:29

vendors that we have right now , um

21:31

, I think that's going to be kind of tight . So , and

21:34

then we've got to consider public parking

21:36

, you know . So I've already

21:38

told her . I said you know , some of these vendors , the way the

21:40

field and the park set up , they're going to

21:42

have to park with her setup . That's the way it's

21:44

gonna have to go . We need to try to get most

21:46

of that parking . Um , you

21:48

know , and we have a field right before you drive to the gate

21:51

, in the field , we're already gonna have some vendors

21:53

in that field . Then you drive through the gate and

21:55

then boom , the whole festival is right

21:57

there . So I mean we're gonna have a good

21:59

flow of vendors through there . Um

22:02

, so we'll see . Um , this

22:04

is going to be our first event . We'll see how it turns out

22:06

. We get live entertainment , you know . But

22:08

yeah , like I said , pennsylvania has got several events

22:11

. Uh , there's actually a couple

22:13

events in um , johnstown , one's

22:15

later in september , um , but

22:18

yeah , one's in september , uh

22:20

, the squants palooza with jo , that's

22:23

in August . So , um , yeah

22:25

, pennsylvania has several , several events , you

22:27

know um . You

22:30

know um , like I said , mine's in Virginia

22:32

, but the east coast is blown up with conferences

22:34

um , north Carolina has

22:36

a few , tennessee's got several

22:38

um , and then of course

22:41

, you keep going , every state from here on down

22:43

south , as going .

22:45

Yeah , so

22:53

yeah , we actually just booked our first convention

22:55

at the end of this year , September 6th

22:57

and 7th we're going to the PA Bigfoot camping adventure .

22:58

Oh , OK .

22:58

OK , yeah , yeah .

22:59

I'm very familiar with that . So , yeah

23:01

, because I got a couple of campouts I'm hosting

23:03

myself . One is immediately

23:05

following the festival , the may 25th

23:08

event . Um , we'll be out camping

23:10

for a whole , uh , a whole week . And

23:12

then we have an october , uh

23:15

fall camp out in virginia we're doing

23:17

for a week . So , um , I

23:19

host two campouts , two group

23:21

campouts , every year . Um year my

23:24

Virginia people that know I do one every May

23:26

, they're coming up here for the

23:28

Pennsylvania one I'm doing here and

23:30

then , of course , a lot of them are excited

23:32

for the one we're doing in Virginia , the

23:35

one I've been doing in Virginia . We've always stayed

23:37

in the same national forest , you

23:39

know , just sometimes we switch

23:41

up a location here and there , but we're

23:43

actually getting out of the whole general area

23:45

and we have a new spot we're going to be picking out

23:47

. I've already been discussing that with one

23:49

of the other members of our team and

23:52

, uh , it's official . We're excited

23:54

about this location because this particular location

23:56

, um , not to mention

23:58

, it's got all the mountain line reports from this

24:01

area , from the locals , but

24:03

I've heard several bigfoot reports

24:06

from this area . Bear hunters

24:08

reported seeing things in this area . I've

24:11

seen pictures from people's phones

24:13

of these trackways found

24:16

in the snow out there . I'm very impressed with

24:18

stuff , so I'm

24:21

anxious to get out there and spend some time out

24:23

there , you know , and see what

24:25

we might experience and what we might be able

24:27

to find . So , but , um , I

24:30

mean the this particular area . It's a little

24:33

bit further North from where we normally

24:35

camp in Virginia , but basically

24:37

, if you look at the whole year , the woods

24:39

they all connect , uh , you know

24:42

, um , it is

24:44

a little closer to West Virginia , but

24:46

it's still in Virginia . So , yeah

24:49

, yeah , yeah . But

24:52

that's all I can say about that

24:54

, you know . But

24:56

for now , anyway , I may have

24:58

a different counter up in Somerset

25:01

.

25:03

What's that ? Now , I may have had a big

25:05

fit encounter up in Somerset I'm not really

25:07

sure because I didn't see anything , but

25:10

I was doing hunting season in

25:12

November

25:15

. I was on my cabin because

25:17

I have a cabin up in Somerset .

25:20

I think I told you that . Yeah , I'm

25:22

remembering now . Yeah .

25:24

And it was real

25:26

snowy this year I forget what year

25:29

it was and I

25:33

went for a walk behind my cabin

25:35

, which is a big like hillside

25:37

, and I heard something huge

25:39

my uncle remembers hearing

25:41

it too and I

25:44

ran across a mountain and

25:47

I couldn't tell thinking now

25:49

if it was bipedal or

25:51

not . But whatever this thing is , it

25:53

was big and I wish

25:55

now thinking about it , I

25:57

would have went back

25:59

out there the next day to

26:02

look for tracks . I didn't even think about

26:04

it at that time . I was like

26:06

damn , I really wish I could have went back and looked for tracks . I didn't even think about it at that time . I was like damn , I really wish I could run back

26:08

and look for tracks right . It

26:10

was fast and loud and

26:12

big . Whatever this thing was and

26:15

I don't know if it was a bear , bigfoot

26:18

, but it was big- well

26:20

, you mentioned there was snow .

26:22

Wow , so this was . You

26:24

said what ? What month would you say ? You know , november

26:27

, september , november or um , I can't remember if you mentioned tonight . So this was . You said what month ? September , november . I

26:29

can't remember if you mentioned or not .

26:32

Whenever Season first comes

26:34

in . So it would be .

26:36

November . Yeah , november

26:38

, yeah , okay , oh , that's

26:40

interesting . Um , but

26:44

it sounded real heavy . It was either One big

26:46

giant black bear or could it . Yeah , it sounds

26:48

like it could have been a Squatcho . Yeah

26:52

, because , even I know , was it pretty cold temperature

26:54

wise ? Yeah

26:56

, I mean , because the black bears

26:58

, a lot of black bears that you

27:00

know , they still could have been trying to pig out

27:02

and fill their bellies up , while they could , you know

27:04

, a lot of them

27:06

do slow down , a lot of them are not as active

27:09

when it gets cold or super cold out . But , um

27:12

, that's one thing I was actually surprised , I

27:14

mean , even though we had been getting some warmer weather

27:16

, but yet we still get cold weather here . During

27:19

my exploring this past weekend , I mean

27:21

, yeah , I found some bear tracks up there . Um

27:24

, where I was at , I definitely found some bear tracks . Uh

27:27

, they weren't big , but they weren't small

27:29

, you know , they were like I found

27:32

a couple that were double step bear tracks . Um

27:34

, I do try to point them out . I know the camera

27:36

doesn't do justice when it comes to tracks . I

27:39

don't know why , unless it's like in a clear

27:41

soil or clear detail , um

27:43

, but most tracks do not

27:45

show detail on the camera which I

27:47

I it kind of irks me , you

27:49

know so , but , um , but

27:52

you know I was trying to show when I'm holding

27:54

the camera . You're showing , like , like the

27:56

one track , the double step bear track I found it

27:58

did . If you overlook it and only glance

28:00

at it , it looks like one solid track . But

28:03

I did point out on video camera you can see the toes in the front with the front

28:05

paw and then you can see the toes in the front with the front

28:07

paw and then you can see the toes , like

28:09

, so far back below that front paw that

28:11

came from the hind , you know , and

28:13

it's all joined together . Um , not

28:17

every double step bear track is going to look obvious

28:19

. You know , some of them are very deceiving and

28:22

I'll be the first to admit that I have been deceived

28:24

on multiple occasions on bear tracks . Um

28:27

, I know a lot of bear tracks . When I

28:29

find them , I like until I realized what they

28:31

are . They look like a Bigfoot track

28:33

, one solid compute track . Um

28:36

, some of them are so put together , you know

28:38

, so smooth and combined . But , yeah

28:40

, just , there are certain details I've

28:43

learned to look for , you know , the

28:45

slightest off step , you know the double set

28:47

, the extra set of toes in the track . You know

28:49

little things like that , you know , and again

28:51

, it's not always obvious , but you

28:53

gotta , you know , I gotta tell people . You just gotta be

28:55

careful , take your time , try

28:58

not to get excited . The biggest thing is I

29:00

try to tell people . Get Bigfoot off your brain , you

29:02

know , especially

29:04

all the newbies I've been asked numerous

29:07

times about , you know , from young and old people . Hey

29:09

look , I'm looking to get involved with this . What

29:11

should I do ? What are the first steps I should do ? You

29:14

know , some of the basic things I like to

29:16

share with people is well , you want to get familiar with

29:18

the location . Pick a location , an

29:20

area of interest , and get

29:23

familiar with it . Learn the terrain you

29:25

know , try to learn and get

29:27

familiar with all the different species of wildlife

29:29

that inhabit that room , that food , that area . You

29:31

know that's very important . You want to know your

29:33

wildlife . Second

29:36

thing is , when you do start getting equipment

29:38

together which I keep , you know , I tell them keep it basic

29:40

. A lot of times you just need your own personal

29:42

senses . That's the best tools . Unless

29:45

you want to start documenting , use

29:47

your camera phone . I

29:49

use this 99.999%

29:52

of the time . My smartphone yes

29:55

, I have a really good camcorder . I've

29:58

got free camcorders but

30:01

out of all of them , I love using

30:03

this why ? It's easy to

30:05

upload everything . Everything's

30:07

out of touch , it's like a snap picture . Everything's

30:10

so much easier . I mean , I

30:12

got my Sony . I mean this little guy right here

30:14

. I've had this for years . I love

30:16

this little camera . You know , it's

30:20

the handyman camera . Works excellent

30:22

, real great . And

30:29

then I don't have it nearby my new canon pro a , a x 10 , whatever it's called

30:31

. Uh , yeah , it's a seven to ten hundred dollar camera . Uh , I'm still

30:34

learning how to use that one . It's got great night

30:36

vision , you know , great audio . Everything's great

30:38

on it . But I've only been doing small

30:40

segments with it because I'm still trying to get familiar with

30:42

everything I want . You know I don't

30:44

want to start just going out there wasting my

30:47

filming and not know how to use

30:49

it like you know , like , but uh , but

30:52

yeah , if you got a smartphone , you're

30:54

, you're good to go . You got all your documentation

30:56

tools right here . I snap

30:58

a lot of photos with . With a phone , you

31:00

can do videos with it . And the one thing

31:02

I tell people if you get a video like

31:05

, do a proper documentation , always

31:07

turn your camera this way when you're filming . This

31:10

is okay , but you're cutting out a lot of your scenery

31:12

, you know , and it

31:14

looks a lot neater if you hold your phone sideways . Again

31:17

, another tool I don't have right here you

31:20

know you got stabilizers If you don't want to hold the

31:22

phone directly . I got a handheld stabilizer

31:24

for this and

31:28

I brought it with me for the first time this weekend . Still didn't use

31:30

it . Either I had it on the tripod or I was holding my

31:32

phone by myself . But

31:34

but , yeah , use your phone . You know . I mean

31:36

, there's all kinds of ways to document things , you

31:38

know . But like

31:41

, you know people , you

31:44

hear people having Bigfoot stories and Bigfoot

31:46

sightings all the time . And , oh , did

31:48

you get a picture of it ? No , why not ? Because

31:50

you know you were caught up in the moment . You know I've

31:52

had there's been times where you know I

31:54

wish I had a camera with me . Or if I did , I

31:56

just didn't have no way to document

31:58

it . But or

32:01

you know , like , no , no

32:07

, if you did , sometimes you get caught

32:09

up in the moment . You don't think

32:12

about pulling that camera out to get a better observation , you know . But yeah , cameras are the

32:14

best way to get , you know if you want to document stuff , but yeah , if

32:16

you want to get involved , when you do , get out there

32:18

, just relax and have fun , enjoy

32:24

nature , love nature . And

32:29

again , like I mentioned earlier , I'm sorry I got a little off track on a thing but , yeah , get

32:31

Bigfoot off your brain , you know . Focus

32:38

on what's what is known to exist . You know your wildlife species , because the unknown

32:40

will stand apart . You know things that you won't recognize . If you're not

32:42

familiar with wildlife , then get familiar with wildlife

32:44

, because wildlife is very important

32:46

to know . Then get familiar with wildlife , because wildlife is very important to know

32:48

. One of my quotes I share , it's on my website , it's

32:50

on my Facebook , it's everywhere . I even include

32:52

it in a couple of books I have is learn

32:55

and know what is known before seeking the unknown

32:57

. Because over the

32:59

years , one of the things I've come to realize

33:02

, especially in a lot of these Bigfoot

33:04

groups and

33:07

not just Bigfoot groups although I'm not a believer in dog man , I

33:09

still join these groups just to see what people are sharing

33:12

. I have

33:14

, I have seen for myself people

33:16

are sharing large feline cat

33:19

tracks , you know , and calling

33:21

them dog man tracks , and

33:23

see , and this is the problem with a big

33:26

part of the community . They're misinformed

33:28

, they're not educated and they're just

33:30

going at it and that's why we have

33:32

people laughing and making mockery at us , because

33:34

people are not familiar

33:37

or aware of what our known species

33:39

are . You know , they're misidentifying

33:41

things constantly and

33:43

, um , I'm not saying everybody is , but a

33:45

big part of them are doing this and it

33:48

makes people like me and all the other serious

33:50

ones out there . It makes

33:54

us look like a laughing joke , a laughing stock , you know

33:56

. So , yeah

33:59

, people get familiar with your known species . I

34:01

have people that , or I've talked to

34:03

people that's 50 , 60 , 70 , 70

34:05

years old . You'd be surprised

34:08

that some of these people you would think they would

34:10

have more knowledge than people like me I'm only

34:12

44 , you know . Um

34:14

, that would be more familiar

34:16

with species of wildlife species ? None

34:18

. Some of these very same people are

34:20

the ones misidentifying things

34:22

out there because they got bigfoot on the brain , they got

34:24

this on the brain , they got everything

34:27

on the brain except for what's logical , what's real

34:29

, what you know . So I

34:31

know I repeat myself

34:33

a lot . You know there's been numerous times like

34:36

I've said this on video so many times

34:38

, I've said this in presentations . You know , you

34:41

know I , you know

34:43

, I got to the point where , like I

34:46

started pointing some of this out , I started sharing

34:48

other people's posts just

34:50

to show why I'm saying this . This

34:52

is what people call this . We see

34:55

this , we know this as this

34:57

, but it's being called this . For

35:00

those who know Dr Jeff Meltzer , he's

35:02

been doing the same thing . He sees these bear tracks

35:05

being posted around , floating

35:07

around social media . There's one in particular . He's recently

35:09

reshared . It's from

35:11

2014 . People are calling

35:14

it Bigfoot tracks , but

35:16

he made a post where he clearly

35:19

said I'm frustrated to see this being

35:21

floating around , where people are saying this is

35:23

Bigfoot . No , this is obviously

35:25

a bear track . And for those who know bear tracks , yes

35:28

, it . No , this is obviously a bear track . And for those who know bear tracks , yes , it is

35:30

clearly , obviously a bear track . And that's the problem with

35:32

, again , what I just said everybody's

35:34

not informed , they're misinformed and

35:36

they're misidentifying

35:38

. They're , they're not educated on this

35:40

stuff . You're never too old

35:42

to learn wildlife . If you , if you don't get

35:44

out enough to witness or experience

35:47

or to observe our wildlife

35:49

species in their tracks , I mean , um

35:52

, but again , that's why I tell people

35:54

get big foot off your brain . Uh , you know

35:56

all these cryptids and you

35:58

know , whatever we go out there with

36:00

the blinders on , focus on one thing instead

36:02

of realizing what else is out there you know , I

36:06

learned about the blinder thing back when I used to do

36:08

sales for adc home security . Are

36:10

the guy , the guy who our instructor

36:13

, our coach , was telling , yeah , we gotta put

36:15

the blinders on and focus on that one thing

36:17

. But no , that's the problem . When we're in big

36:19

, involved with bitcoin cryptids , we do have blind

36:22

design . We're not , we're not

36:24

aware , we're , we're , you know , we're

36:26

ignoring everything else that's out there

36:28

, rather than realizing what we do have

36:30

. You know . So , so right , but

36:33

yeah , so that's what

36:35

I wanted to say about that .

36:37

I'm sorry I'm rambling again no

36:39

, you're good man , but I'm curious like

36:41

have you ever had any personal encounters with

36:43

bigfoot ? Have you ever seen it ?

36:45

yes , yeah , um , now , I've

36:48

had a few different experiences , but as far as encounters

36:50

themselves go back

36:52

in 2014 , um

36:55

, yeah , actually , a group of us

36:57

there was six of us all together we actually had

36:59

an encounter and it happened during

37:01

our one of our group camp outs in virginia

37:03

. And , uh , tell

37:06

you , you know , after

37:08

doing a lot of exploring during the day , you know

37:10

, we found some pretty cool stuff here and there

37:12

. But , you know , we made it

37:16

back to camp and we were just talking about

37:18

, well , after we relaxed

37:21

and had something to eat . You know , it's like

37:23

, well , somebody's like , hey , can we go out

37:25

tonight and hike out ? You know , hike during

37:27

the night ? I was like , yeah , of course

37:29

, I mean , we're out here , this is what we're here for , you

37:31

know . So

37:33

we were roughly almost

37:36

a mile from the lake and

37:38

so we got to talking hey , well

37:40

, hey

37:45

, let's walk down to the lake in the area here . And , you know , just kind of browse around , check through that area . And you know

37:47

, just kind of browse around , check through that area . And I , you know , I said I think it'll be a good area if

37:49

we hear any vocals . We'll definitely hear

37:52

vocals very good , because , regardless , you

37:54

know where they come from . We'll , we'll

37:56

definitely pick them up around the lake , because you get two

37:58

big , high ridges . You know that's around the

38:00

lake , you know , um , well

38:02

, one side they call it I'll mention

38:05

the name it's called Elkhorn Mountain on

38:07

the one side , and then

38:09

you got just a high to medium sized

38:12

ridgeline over there on the one side of the lake

38:14

and of course , it basically wraps around

38:16

. Basically , that

38:18

lake sets in like a big saddle

38:21

. This is the only way I know

38:23

how to describe it . But

38:26

, yeah , we end up working our way down

38:28

to the lake . Now , one thing I

38:30

will point out um , by

38:33

the time we headed down there , it was it

38:36

was already in the evening , but we still had

38:38

daylight . So , but

38:40

, uh , all six of us we headed

38:43

down to the lake on foot from where our

38:45

base camp was and we got down there . And when we got to the lake on foot

38:47

from where our base camp was , and we got down there , and

38:49

when we got to the actual lake itself , we decided

38:51

to pair up in twos and spread out around the lake

38:53

. And so , yeah , everybody

38:56

, that way we weren't completely alone , everybody had

38:58

a team , because it was getting dark , you know , starting

39:00

to get dark . You know , like I said , by the time we got down

39:02

there there was still some daylight left

39:04

. We

39:14

didn't need to turn our lights on yet because we knew where we were going . Um , so , yeah

39:16

, after uh , spreading around the lake because we had one couple that was down from vermont , they uh

39:18

, kimmy and darren , they actually stayed on the lake . Has this little peninsula

39:21

that has a little bench . Uh

39:23

, kimmy , darren , they were old , a couple , they actually stayed

39:25

there . Um , and

39:27

, yeah , they stayed put

39:30

at the little bench that was out on the peninsula

39:32

the rest of this walk . There's a service

39:35

road that runs along the side of the lake and

39:37

every so often along that

39:39

one side of the lake there's these little handicapped

39:41

, accessible little docks or piers , whatever

39:43

you want to call um . you know

39:45

, there's just basically little squares with railings

39:47

on it . You can roll your wheelchair on it . So

39:50

, yeah , that's what we did . We spread out around the lake

39:52

and we

39:54

, like I said , we were in pairs of two and

39:57

we all had radio communication

40:00

and everything else . And

40:02

you know , it was quiet . It

40:04

was starting to get dark , it was , you

40:06

know , we were losing daylight

40:08

, or sunlight , I should

40:10

say but

40:28

we weren't hearing nothing , except on occasions . A couple of us you'll hear like

40:30

occasional little limb snap or or what sounds

40:32

like some light football , like

40:34

like from deer or something , uh

40:36

, so nothing to get excited about . Um

40:39

, and then it got

40:41

to the point where it's like , okay , we got to do a localization

40:44

. Now , are you guys familiar

40:46

with , uh , um

40:48

, bobo from finding bigfoot ? Uh

40:51

, there's a one known , his

40:53

famous bigfoot call , that he's known for doing

40:56

. Well , I love

40:58

sharing this and I've shared this multiple

41:00

times kimmy , kimmy , uh

41:02

, and darren . Kimmy is just a little thing

41:04

. Like I said , she's just a little thing and

41:07

I

41:09

gotta say I'm very proud to brag

41:11

on her vocals , but

41:13

she is like the female

41:16

version of Bobo . That

41:18

little lady could put out a good

41:20

vocalization . It sounds just like Bobo , but

41:23

just tweaked into a female voice , you know . So , yeah

41:27

, so she put out her vocalization

41:30

because , you know , we communicated After

41:32

Kimmy does the vocalization , everybody

41:35

just remains silent . We're going to listen , see what

41:37

happens , you know . And sure

41:39

enough , she gave off her vocalization After

41:42

we're done . We stopped and listened and

41:44

then , sure enough which was very

41:46

interesting , unexpected a good

41:49

10 seconds or so after she gave off

41:51

her vocal , we did hear

41:53

what sounded like a return response

41:55

from a little bit further distance

41:58

, on the opposite side of that ridge

42:00

, like you know , hey

42:02

, was it somebody else ? Was it somebody responding

42:05

, or did we get a ? You

42:07

know , was it big , I

42:10

don't know , but we got a response , regardless , you

42:12

know which . It did pump

42:14

us up a little bit . It kind of made us excited

42:16

. So then again

42:18

, after that , some time went by and

42:21

it got to the point where it

42:24

was getting late and

42:30

we decided to regroup . You know , we all met down there with kimmy darren , from

42:32

where they were sitting at , and then the sixth of us decided come on , guys , let's

42:34

. It's time to head back to camp . Like I said , we

42:36

had almost about a mile hike and

42:39

we started to set foot

42:41

and we're walking along . We started

42:43

off and we're walking a single file

42:45

line and I am

42:47

in front of everybody and we're

42:50

walking . We're all talking at normal tone

42:52

. We're not trying to keep quiet and

42:55

so , as we're getting

42:57

so far up , you know we're talking and

43:00

I'm just looking around . We all have our headlamps on

43:02

. For the record at this time , I

43:04

will tell you , it was just around midnight

43:07

and we're getting up to this point and , all

43:09

of a sudden , right on the side of the road

43:11

, walking right towards us , was

43:13

this deer . And

43:28

what was interesting about seeing this deer here ? It was walking straight towards us and it was only maybe 10 feet away

43:30

from us right before it nonchalantly turned off and went further into the darkness to disappear

43:32

. Because they're like most of the deer in the era , they're very skittish , especially during hunting season , of course

43:34

. But uh , the deer , it's like

43:36

. They're smart , they know , they know when hunting season is

43:38

, they know at that time , uh

43:41

, we weren't going to touch them , you know they're , I

43:44

don't know what it is . My observation with deer is they're

43:46

very intelligent , they know things , you know but

43:48

, they'll be . They'll hang around you all

43:51

season , but come hunting season they

43:53

move to beverly hill . You know , yeah

43:57

, yeah I knew that feeling all too

43:59

well yep , so

44:03

again , yeah , I just thought it was

44:05

odd that you , you know , hey , that deer hung around that close

44:07

and even when it walked off , like I said

44:09

nonchalantly , like blah , blah , blah

44:11

, you know . But here's

44:14

where it got interesting . Right

44:16

after seeing that deer , as we walked up past

44:18

where that deer walked off in front of us , as

44:22

I'm in front , I'm looking up across

44:25

on the opposite side of that road , and

44:28

all of a sudden something catches my attention . I was like what the heck is

44:30

that ? And I'm looking at it and

44:32

keep in mind , in the National Forest here in Virginia

44:35

there's these random little yellow signs and

44:37

some of them will say like no vehicles

44:40

beyond this point . And that's what I thought

44:42

I was looking at . I was like that's a weird place or

44:44

odd place for one to be , because

44:46

it's all woods , it's real thick right there , you know

44:48

. I say why would a vehicle go that

44:50

way anyway , you know ? Um

44:52

, then I realized I was . I kept

44:54

staring at it and I realized it

44:57

was a set of eyeshine , because my it became focused

45:00

and it blinked . And when

45:02

I saw it blink , I called my butt . Tracy

45:04

. Honor was the next one behind me . I said

45:06

tracy , what is that

45:08

you know . And then I go on and say is that a mountain

45:12

lion ? You know , my first initial thoughts was was

45:14

it a mountain lion ? So because

45:16

, as I'm looking at it , right

45:19

, looking yellow , glowing eyes , and

45:21

they were kind of low to the ground , that's the

45:23

first initial thought I'm thinking . I'm

45:26

looking face to face at him , outlying , and

45:28

all of a sudden we're staring at

45:31

it and it zips off , it disappears

45:33

really fast . And then Tracy

45:35

calls the rest of the group Guys , get up here . We got eyeshine

45:37

. Keep in mind we had no

45:39

clue what we're looking at . I didn't know , I had no

45:41

idea what this was . But we all get

45:43

up . There was

45:48

. But we all get up there , we recruit and we get into that very spot where we first saw that set eyeshine

45:50

and we're looking down into the woods and for the record , right there

45:52

from the edge of the road , it did slope down . It

45:54

sloped down some feet , then leveled back out . So

45:57

right there by the tree where

45:59

whatever that said eyeshine was , it was low

46:01

right there . So that explains whatever it was was either

46:04

still small to begin with or it was crouching

46:06

way down . And for

46:10

the record , we picked up that set of eye shine

46:12

again . Even though we're looking down

46:14

at this , we noticed it was still

46:16

small . So , from

46:19

the height and the distance we were at

46:21

, we were probably a good 30 feet from it , maybe

46:23

between 30 and 40 feet , and

46:30

from my observation , from what I I recall , I estimated that it was around and , okay , this can't

46:32

be any taller than four feet tall . So

46:34

, yeah , it was about four feet tall and

46:37

what was interesting about it was it

46:40

was swaying side to side very swiftly

46:42

, like I'm

46:44

just not thinking of anything . I mean I like

46:46

now keep in mind for the record yes , bigfoot

46:49

, the fight of bigfoot sasquatch never

46:51

existed in my mind during this whole thing , because

46:53

I mean , here's something I'm trying to figure out what the heck this

46:55

is . I'm not making it out . We're not seeing

46:57

no physical shapes , we're just seeing eyeshine , no

47:00

shapes , uh , features of nothing

47:02

. And like what the heck is

47:04

this ? What is doing it ? And I'm trying

47:06

to go through what I call my internal database

47:08

in my head , like I'm familiar with all the species of

47:10

wildlife in here and whatever

47:13

. This is not , it's not ringing a bell , it's

47:15

like it's not making no sense to me . What

47:17

in the world is this ? You know , bright

47:20

, large looking yellow eyes and

47:22

it's swaying side to side pretty swiftly

47:24

. It's like what in the world this

47:26

is now . Keep in mind , as

47:28

I'm staring at this , you know

47:30

I'm starting to look a little

47:33

bit . Scan my eyes , you know , I picked

47:35

up while we all started together . Keep

47:37

in mind , there were six of us there and

47:39

there was a second set of eyeshine

47:41

that appeared from out of nowhere . This

47:43

second set of eyeshine was probably about five

47:45

feet away from that small one , but

47:48

this one here was easily another two feet taller

47:51

than that on that four foot one . And

47:54

now this one here . This one here is not moving

47:56

. This one's , yeah , not as

47:58

far as we can tell , it wasn't moving , but if

48:00

you watched it and kept your eyes on it and

48:02

watch their eyes , it blinked

48:04

on occasions . And the only thing I

48:06

can think of , yeah , we had a couple , uh

48:09

, bright lights on our headlamps were pretty bright

48:11

and so you know , perhaps

48:13

our lights were , you know , for

48:15

them looking at us . Whatever they were at

48:17

the time , uh , must have been kind

48:19

of bright . So now we're looking

48:22

at two subjects and I call them subjects

48:24

because at this time , like I said , I had no clue what

48:26

we were looking at the smaller

48:28

ones still swaying side to side . That

48:32

taller one just on occasion it kept blinking its eyes

48:34

. Sometimes we're

48:37

not seeing no physical features and nothing at

48:39

all on this one . The reason I'm You'll

48:42

hear me continue on here shortly , but the

48:44

only thing I could come up with

48:47

or conclude is that

48:49

one keep in mind , this was after midnight . We're

48:51

looking into a very dark forest and

48:53

it's real thick in there . There is bushes and trees

48:56

everywhere . The only thing I could think of

48:58

why we're not picking up any physical features

49:00

or any other details that they

49:03

had to be black . They

49:05

had to have black hair for themselves , where

49:07

they were blending in with the darkness , you

49:10

know . And just out of that , and also

49:12

just out of that what's the word I look

49:15

for , out of that

49:17

beam of our light , you know where they were , just

49:19

far enough back to where we couldn't make out the details

49:21

too . That's the only thing I keep thinking about

49:23

. So now we're watching

49:25

these two , I

49:29

mean , what seems like it's going on for an hour . It's only been a maybe

49:32

a two to a few minutes . You

49:34

know , I just can . We're getting caught

49:36

up in this mystery or whatever

49:38

we're observing . And

49:40

while that's going on

49:42

, I uh , I don't know

49:45

everyone else is doing their own thing . You hear people

49:47

talking , some people getting excited because we don't , they

49:49

didn't know either , nobody had no clue . And

49:53

I'm scanning along and I'm scanning my

49:55

eyes through and keep

49:59

in mind , there were some thick bushes , there were a couple trees

50:01

and my eyes happened

50:03

to notice something else . And

50:06

through the thick bushes , like very

50:08

, very low to the ground , what appeared

50:10

to be like almost on the ground , I

50:13

pick up a third set of eye shine and

50:15

I was like tracy . So

50:18

no , I don't know if I call tracy tracy . I refer

50:20

to tracy a lot , but there was others with

50:22

us , but he again , he was next

50:24

to us and well , next to me , excuse

50:26

me and I said

50:28

, look guys , and I think after

50:31

I pointed out , a couple others took notice of it too . But

50:33

there's another set of eyeshine right

50:35

there and , as I pointed out , my eyes

50:37

did not move off it . I kept looking at that

50:40

third set of eyeshine and

50:42

I'm watching that third set of eyeshine all

50:45

starting . It's starting from what appears

50:47

to be on the ground . It's starting to raise

50:49

up and it's still

50:51

growing . It's still growing and

50:53

moving taller and taller and taller

50:55

. Next thing , you know , you've seen that set of eyeshine come over

50:57

top of the bushes and

50:59

it stops and

51:02

it blinked . And keep in mind

51:04

for , yes , for the record , same color eyeshine

51:07

. All three of these had the same color

51:09

eye shine . Not one of them was different , not

51:11

at all . Not one of them was different . So

51:14

this was probably another , what

51:17

I recall , another

51:19

between five to eight feet maybe from the

51:21

six-foot one . And now

51:23

, keep in mind , for the record , we

51:25

4 foot 1 A 6 foot 1 and , yes

51:27

, this one was 2 feet taller than the 6

51:29

foot 1 . So now we have 3

51:32

subjects , 4 , 6 and now we have

51:34

this one that we're estimating to be around 8 feet

51:36

tall . And yes

51:39

, again , it didn't cross my

51:41

mind yet Not me anyway

51:43

but Tracy Allen moved

51:45

out in front of us and Tracy was . He

51:47

had his son next to him . His son was only

51:49

14 at the time and he

51:52

was . They were just getting excited . A

51:54

couple people were making some silly noises , trying

51:57

to see what kind of response or whatever they could

51:59

get , and then it was from

52:01

out of nowhere . Tracy said guys , we got squatches

52:03

. Now he said that and

52:10

then I was going to , I got to thinking now he said that and then I was like I got to

52:12

thinking . I said , well , I want to believe that , but I need something more that's going to confirm

52:14

that , or tell me yeah , these are squashes , because just

52:16

seeing eye shine at these different height levels

52:18

just wasn't enough for me at this

52:20

time . I needed something more

52:22

. And yeah , for

52:25

the record , I mean yeah , like I said on

52:27

the two of them , the six foot and eight foot with blinking

52:30

eyes , that short one , yes

52:32

, it was still swaying side to side . It

52:36

might've slowed up just a hair , but not much . It stayed swaying side to

52:39

side and you know , the whole time

52:41

, like I said , yeah , it's exciting

52:43

, but what are these ? What

52:45

? What's , what is this ? You

52:49

know , it just wasn't making no sense to me . And then , even though

52:51

tracy said , guys , we got squatches

52:53

, I need again , I needed that confirmation

52:55

. Well , it did get

52:57

interesting . Something else did happen and

53:00

because I seen that we had a very tall one

53:02

, for some reason I was mesmerized by that

53:05

. My eyes stay glued on that

53:07

one . That tall one

53:09

actually made a maneuver where

53:11

it actually turned to his left and

53:14

appeared to take a step or two and

53:16

turn back around facing us and

53:19

blink the signs . When it made

53:21

that maneuver , basically

53:23

look at my I mean my shoulders on camera right here

53:25

probably look very small compared to what I've seen

53:27

, but when it made that maneuver , very

53:30

wide , broad shoulders , very

53:33

wide , broad shoulders and a head that was literally

53:35

sitting on top of these broad shoulders , a

53:38

big round head . I will say that when

53:40

I seen that there to

53:44

me is like okay , these are not theirs . At

53:47

that point Sasquatch did

53:49

cross my mind and I

53:51

felt confident and comfortable

53:53

enough to say that , okay , these

53:55

got to be squatches . What else would

53:58

these have been ? I mean , bears don't

54:00

have shoulders , they slope right down and

54:03

you know , you

54:06

know . And then , after this moment of all

54:08

, of us seeing this . They did all three

54:10

at almost like , almost like they were in

54:13

sync together . They

54:15

all turned off and disappeared further into the darkness

54:17

, you know . And after they

54:19

disappeared , then that's when we stepped back and started

54:22

going back . But as we were walking

54:24

to , I know Kimmy she was the only one that

54:26

expressed any nervousnessness . The rest of

54:28

us were acting like a bunch of fools

54:30

, to be honest with you . I mean silly kids

54:32

, you know , just making noises and

54:34

stuff like that . Um , you

54:37

know , it was exciting to me . I didn't feel scared

54:39

again . Kimmy was the only one that expressed

54:41

any fear or nervousness . Um

54:44

, but as we're walking , you know

54:46

you could hear a limb snap or whatever . You know , like whatever

54:48

. They were stepping on your gear , crap snap , whatever

54:50

. And of course , kimmy freaked out . Guys

54:53

, you're following us . I said no , no , they're

54:55

just walking through the woods . There's a lot of thick

54:58

brush back there . I said I've been back there

55:00

numerous times , I know it's back there . They're

55:02

just retreating , you know , going about their . So

55:07

, yeah , we did get back to camp . We

55:09

were talking about it after we got settled down and

55:12

we were trying to bunk it . We were literally

55:14

trying to go back over . Could these have been anything

55:17

else . What else could these have been ? So

55:21

we made it a point to go back to that

55:24

spot the next day and

55:27

we did a height comparison

55:29

. We had one gentleman with us oh

55:33

man , I don't remember his name , excuse

55:35

me , cliff . His name is Cliff Stanley . So

55:37

we got there . Cliff

55:40

was probably a couple inches taller than me . I'm six foot tall

55:42

. He was a little taller than me . He's an older gentleman

55:44

. Me and Cliff got down to the

55:47

spot where we seen everything and

55:49

while the others were

55:51

up , two of them were up on the roadway

55:54

. Me and Cliff were down there in the general area

55:56

where they were , and

55:58

then a couple of others were walking around looking for tracks

56:00

. But when we did our hike comparison we

56:03

were pretty much on point with what we estimated in the night

56:06

before . So

56:09

that was interesting as

56:11

far as finding tracks in there . The ground was all

56:13

lumpy and

56:16

uneven , the way the grass grew through there and the thorns

56:18

and everything . So it was very hard to pick

56:20

up or notice anything distinguished

56:23

or that stood out . But

56:27

I do want to continue on and

56:29

add on , uh , another situation

56:32

, um , that I kind of want to

56:34

almost include with this situation a

56:37

year later , in the

56:39

same section of woods just around the corner . It

56:42

was during hunting season , and I

56:44

do camp out there . I tend tent camp a

56:46

lot out there during the hunting season . Well

56:49

, there's primitive spots all through there , you

56:51

know , and there's one big

56:53

spot just outside of the area where usually a lot

56:55

of old-timers will take your campers and camp

56:57

out there for a week or two at a time

56:59

. Um , nobody was camped

57:01

there . Uh , there's another small spot

57:04

just up a little ways , excuse

57:07

me , and I took

57:09

that spot and I was like , oh , this is plenty good enough , this

57:11

is , you know . I took that spot

57:13

, I set up my tent there , blah , blah , blah . Well

57:16

, in november 2015

57:18

, um , I was camping

57:21

there and I I don't know

57:24

, I'm gonna say it was probably between 10 10 o'clock

57:26

, it was probably around 10 o'clock at night . I

57:28

was sitting there , I had the fire going shotgun

57:31

, leaning up against my vehicle , and I

57:33

was bored . It was just . It

57:36

was so quiet out there . I

57:38

got to the point where I was getting bored I , you

57:41

know I had , it was . I mean , even though I was

57:43

bored , it was still relaxing , but I just

57:45

had to get up and move around

57:47

. I decided to

57:49

grab my spotlight . My spotlight is one of

57:51

the ones that got the trigger on it . I

57:54

decided to grab my spotlight and walk out

57:56

to the middle of the forest road . Now

57:59

, I know no one else was around , because

58:01

that one spot that's next to me , it was completely

58:03

empty . There's no other camp spots

58:06

for another quarter mile or so

58:08

up around the road or

58:10

further beyond that . However

58:12

, I walked up

58:14

to the middle of Forest Road and

58:17

, as I tell people , I do this on occasion . I've

58:19

done this with other people that come out camping with me . We'll

58:21

walk out to the middle of the road total darkness

58:24

to stop and listen for a little bit . I

58:26

do this , I don bit I and I do this . I don't know why I do this . It's something

58:28

I picked up or a habit , whatever , but I

58:30

like to do this on occasions where I'll go out into the

58:32

middle of forest road and stop

58:36

, listen , look around total darkness before

58:39

I start turning the light on if I need the light . Well

58:41

, in this case , you know , I was by myself

58:44

and that's where I'll

58:46

use my phone , for example say , this was the

58:48

spotlight . So I turned my light

58:50

on and I started , you know

58:53

, looking at the forest across

58:55

from me . I was probably about 20 feet from the tree

58:57

line and as

59:00

soon as I pulled the trigger on the spotlight

59:02

, it started beaming over there . Just look in the woods

59:04

. Well , I noticed as

59:06

soon as I did that you could hear

59:08

a deer run off . You hear a four-legged animal

59:11

like , like I spooked the deer , oh

59:13

cool , okay , a deer just ran off . So

59:16

I'm taking the spotlight and

59:18

I'm scanning from my left to my right and

59:20

as I got to right around between

59:22

the one and just before

59:25

or as I hit the two o'clock position , whatever

59:28

was inside the tree line over there around

59:31

the two o'clock position , whatever

59:34

, I must have got his attention , because what was

59:37

there was very large , very

59:39

heavy , very heavy and without

59:41

doubt it was on two feet . There

59:44

was no denying what I was hearing . Now

59:46

, I never heard nothing , obviously . I never

59:48

saw anything , but what I heard

59:50

was very large and very heavy

59:52

and again . Undoubtedly it was bipedal

59:55

, because everything I heard , I heard

59:57

every step , every step it

59:59

took had a crunch and a thump on it and

1:00:02

it sounded like it was so close . That's how

1:00:04

loud these steps were

1:00:06

and it knowing

1:00:08

that there was nobody else around . I was in besides

1:00:11

the spotlight . It was darkness behind me

1:00:13

and my adrenaline kicked in

1:00:15

. It was just like , and my heart started pounding like it

1:00:17

was about to come out of my chest . I was

1:00:19

actually that's one of the moments

1:00:21

I was actually scared . Now I

1:00:24

started walking backwards when I heard this . I literally started walking

1:00:26

backwards . When I heard this , I literally started walking backwards , looking over

1:00:29

my shoulder , making sure I wasn't going to trip over

1:00:31

into the ditch or something as I walked my way back

1:00:33

into the campsite . But as I

1:00:35

got back into the campsite , after hearing

1:00:37

that , it's like I instantly

1:00:39

calmed back down . I took another

1:00:42

log or two , added it in the fire and

1:00:44

I sat down in my chair . Like

1:00:47

I said again , I instantly tree added in the fire and I sat down in my chair and , like

1:00:49

I said again , I instantly came to a calm . It's like the

1:00:51

fear went away and I

1:00:53

started to think about what I just heard . And

1:00:55

even though it was sounding very large

1:00:58

and heavy , I mean I'm talking about I don't

1:01:00

know , maybe massive was a better way

1:01:02

to describe it , but I

1:01:05

heard those steps , I knew it was on two feet

1:01:07

and it

1:01:10

was going away from me . That's the realization

1:01:13

I came to it was going away from me . Now

1:01:15

, one thing

1:01:17

I think about . All right , let's back

1:01:20

up a year before that , with the

1:01:22

2014 encounter , just

1:01:25

prior to us having that encounter of

1:01:27

that situation . Note

1:01:30

that there was a deer present . Right before that , this

1:01:33

situation , I was completely by myself

1:01:35

and I spooked

1:01:37

up a deer just to my left , in front

1:01:39

of me , and then , all of a sudden , I have this

1:01:42

large , heavy bipedal walk away

1:01:44

from me inside the tree line . I

1:01:46

kept thinking about both of those situations and

1:01:48

I questioned myself about this , because a lot

1:01:50

of people believe that Bigfoot hunts and

1:01:52

eats deer . So that's

1:01:54

the question I still ask myself to

1:01:56

this very day . Did I interrupt

1:01:59

something ? Was Bigfoot ? Were they about

1:02:01

to make a kill or attack on these deer ? Because

1:02:05

deer are very populated in this area . The George

1:02:07

Washington National Forest of Virginia has got tons

1:02:10

of deer , just like you guys have tons

1:02:12

of deer up in the forest up here and so , yeah , those

1:02:14

are something I look back on . Tons of deer , just just like you guys have tons

1:02:16

of deer up in the forest up here and um , so , yeah , um , those are something I look

1:02:18

back on . As far as those two situations

1:02:21

, so that just so happened to happen , like I said

1:02:23

, a year apart , in the same

1:02:25

general section of woods . Just the 2015

1:02:28

was just around the corner . But and

1:02:31

the other little thing I think about sometimes like

1:02:33

, was that whatever walked away from

1:02:35

me in 2015 was , was

1:02:37

he or she one of the ones that were involved

1:02:40

with what happened in 15 , I mean 14

1:02:42

? You know , I was like I don't know , but I never

1:02:44

heard . We never heard no steps . We never heard no , nothing

1:02:47

over there , Because I think the grass

1:02:49

, the ground , was different over there . Like I said , there was

1:02:51

grass clumps over there when

1:03:00

this took place , there was leaves and sticks and debris , but , yeah , just around

1:03:02

the corner was nothing but grass , soft , softer soil , and grass , you know . So , of

1:03:04

course , the thorns and trees and the bushes , but so explain , I

1:03:06

don't know that's the only thing I can think of that would

1:03:08

make sense why we didn't hear steps walking

1:03:10

away from us over there when I had that

1:03:12

happen to me , 20 feet away , you

1:03:14

know , just from the tree line , because

1:03:16

whatever this was was just inside that tree

1:03:19

line , out of my view of light , because I had

1:03:21

that spotlight being at that light

1:03:23

, and I felt like it

1:03:25

was just on the other side of my spotlight

1:03:27

, the beam of light , and like

1:03:29

when I heard that , I was like I didn't . I never

1:03:31

, not once , saw nothing , not even a glimpse

1:03:34

or a movement or nothing . But

1:03:36

I felt like I should have because that's how close

1:03:38

it sounded . It was that close . But

1:03:42

yeah , 2014 and 15

1:03:44

in Virginia , in the George Washington

1:03:46

National Forest . Yeah , I'll never forget

1:03:48

those moments , but

1:03:51

yeah , that was that .

1:03:53

Yeah , that's amazing , I

1:03:55

couldn't imagine . Now

1:03:58

I've heard accounts where people

1:04:00

say that they've had aggressive encounters

1:04:03

with Bigfoot and , like

1:04:05

I was just asking him the other day , you know , like

1:04:08

you hear people say , oh , bigfoot was looking at my window

1:04:10

or whatever . What

1:04:13

do you think stops him from coming in and

1:04:15

like , if if we was on the menu , like there's no

1:04:17

stopping him , he's gonna come in and get you regardless

1:04:19

well , I

1:04:21

, I believe , and I mean I can't prove

1:04:23

this , but just this is more or less my , really my

1:04:25

opinion .

1:04:27

Uh well , for one thing , a lot of people believe bigfoot

1:04:29

to be very intelligent . One

1:04:31

thing is , I just believe that they may have

1:04:33

a I think

1:04:36

the best way to explain or say , actually

1:04:38

I believe they might have a form

1:04:40

of respect of other life . You

1:04:42

know , um , you

1:04:44

know , like , for a number of occasions , a lot of stories I've

1:04:46

heard and other stories and reports I've gotten from

1:04:49

others that that's happened

1:04:51

with them or people they know in Virginia is

1:04:54

where they've had these encounters

1:04:56

, up-close , face-to-face encounters . And

1:04:59

to bring my buddy Tracy involved , my buddy

1:05:02

Tracy had a very close encounter during

1:05:04

the daytime and he was

1:05:06

completely by himself , just

1:05:09

to use him as an example . But

1:05:11

if you look at what you gather

1:05:13

from all these stories and these very close

1:05:15

encounters Bigfoot , doesn't want to

1:05:17

be bothered . They don't

1:05:19

want to bother you either . Because I

1:05:21

really feel , unless you feel like , unless

1:05:24

they feel like you're being a threat to them , you

1:05:26

know , like I tell people , even

1:05:28

a venomous snake won't attack

1:05:31

you unless you put them in that position . You know

1:05:33

A lot of wildlife is the same

1:05:35

way . Don't corner them , don't put them in that position

1:05:37

. But I do believe , just

1:05:39

like a black bear , black bears are very skittish and will

1:05:41

go the other way , but if there's a reason for them to defend

1:05:43

themselves , they will . You know cubs

1:05:46

food , whatever . Get out of that way , let

1:05:48

them go about their business . I

1:05:58

know I've had a lot of black bear experiences and encounters in Virginia

1:06:00

. I'm just waiting for one up here because

1:06:03

I know they're getting big up here , yeah , but yeah , that's just my opinion . I just think that

1:06:05

there's a type of respect . I think they have

1:06:07

a type of respect . Yeah

1:06:09

, I've heard very few aggressive

1:06:11

stories , mainly

1:06:16

most of the stories that have aggression more happening

1:06:18

further out west . Um , I just feel like like

1:06:21

people , have you ever ? I mean for people that might

1:06:23

have had rocks thrown at them ? You know , I've

1:06:26

had a rock thrown at me in virginia . It was probably

1:06:28

about a football size stone , but

1:06:30

it never hit me . Uh , this was several years ago

1:06:32

when , like , an old girlfriend of mine was walking

1:06:34

up a trail . We had crossed this

1:06:36

creek . Uh , right after

1:06:38

, you know , because you have to cross the creek to continue what the trail

1:06:41

was . Um , yeah

1:06:43

, this rock comes landing right between me and her

1:06:45

and we look down . We look at each other

1:06:47

like our jaws are basically on the ground , like what

1:06:49

the hell ? And we're looking back to where

1:06:51

that came from . We never saw nothing , but we did hear

1:06:53

somewhere in the distance , like okay

1:06:58

. So it kind of put us both on edge

1:07:00

, like we had to continue walking up

1:07:02

through this very narrow , tight little

1:07:04

trail , this where the mountain

1:07:06

laurel and all the bushes are closed in on the trail , you

1:07:09

know . So basically we're already feeling like we're walking

1:07:11

into an ambush , you know . But where

1:07:13

that comes out , you know , long story short

1:07:15

. But , um , yeah , usually when

1:07:18

stuff like that happens , I believe is

1:07:20

a sign of or warning , they're just

1:07:22

like okay , you got too close to us , stay

1:07:24

out of this area . You know . Um

1:07:26

, because the funny thing is what

1:07:28

happened prior to having that rock thrown ? There

1:07:31

was an observation . We were look , before we came

1:07:33

up to the creek we were on a part of that trail

1:07:36

where we were observing

1:07:38

and looking . And I had back

1:07:40

at back when this took place , back when

1:07:42

, you know , smartphones were still new

1:07:45

I had a cheap , very low quality

1:07:47

camera phone and there was something

1:07:49

across the way , because we are all in the mountain

1:07:51

world but we're looking something up on the hill . I

1:07:53

had pulled my camera up and I'm holding it up like this

1:07:56

and I you know , I do a little pinch

1:07:58

them to zoom in just enough to where it

1:08:00

doesn't blur up too much , because you know , some

1:08:02

phones , you know pixelation comes in and well

1:08:05

, we're looking through my phone . She's standing right there and we're

1:08:07

looking up and we're all sitting like you see that

1:08:09

, right there , you know , we see

1:08:11

this black I don't

1:08:14

know what you want to call it this little black body

1:08:16

or head or whatever . It was kind of

1:08:18

going up and down or moving around

1:08:20

up and out of the pushes and

1:08:23

she it's funny , she's the one that said it . I

1:08:25

don't know . She's like oh , it's a baby squash

1:08:28

or small spot or something like that . I

1:08:30

said I don't know , I ruled it off as

1:08:33

just being a bear playing up on the hill there , you

1:08:35

know . But this was just

1:08:37

before we went up the uh

1:08:39

, up the rest of the little trail and crossed

1:08:41

that creek . That was right before the rock

1:08:44

got thrown at us , so . So I questioned

1:08:46

that . I said , okay , maybe it wasn't a bear

1:08:48

, maybe it was something else and we were too close . But

1:08:51

yeah , so , um , so

1:08:53

I , yeah , I think about that . I mean , as

1:08:55

far as them being aggressive , I can't say I've

1:08:57

ever had anything happen to me

1:09:00

. You know Rock Throne I've

1:09:02

heard that on numerous occasions . But

1:09:04

as far as people being attacked . Maybe

1:09:08

there is some rogue ones out there . I

1:09:10

mean , you see , we see a lot of these

1:09:12

horror flicks out there and it gives our

1:09:14

minds or imaginations a thought of okay

1:09:16

, maybe there is something out there that does this . Like

1:09:19

my favorite Bigfoot movie . Well , one of my favorite

1:09:21

Bigfoot movies is called Big Legend and

1:09:23

if you haven't seen it , you gotta check it out . And

1:09:26

then , if you , see that then you're not gonna want to go in the woods again . But

1:09:28

no , it's a good movie

1:09:31

. Yeah , it's a yeah

1:09:33

. It makes you think

1:09:35

, though it really does , because the

1:09:37

sad thing is , yeah , yeah

1:09:40

, it's not , you know , not based on a true story

1:09:42

, but it kind of makes you think that , hey , this could really

1:09:45

happen , this could you know . It gives

1:09:47

you that scenario , you know

1:09:49

, so that mindset to think , okay

1:09:51

, this is something I'm going to be careful of , but don't

1:09:53

let that ruin your experience or your

1:09:55

desire to go out in the woods and

1:09:57

camp and everything . There's

1:10:00

only one movie Bigfoot movie that

1:10:03

they use some real

1:10:05

live caught stuff like the audio

1:10:07

. It's like the movie exists . Now

1:10:10

the audio that they use

1:10:12

in that film actually comes from real

1:10:14

recordings from the alleged Bigfoot , you

1:10:17

know , which I thought was interesting . I didn't

1:10:19

know that until I read up about all

1:10:21

that online one time and I said

1:10:23

, well , that's pretty cool that they're using real recordings

1:10:25

in the making of a you know Bigfoot , you

1:10:28

know thriller , you know horror

1:10:30

movie , because you know

1:10:32

that one there . If you've never seen that one

1:10:35

Bigfoot becomes pissed off after his , you

1:10:37

know his wife and kid gets killed . You know

1:10:40

, by accident . It was an accident , but he goes

1:10:42

on a rampage , so , but yeah

1:10:44

. So if you haven't seen that one , it's worth checking out too

1:10:46

, you know . So don't watch it with the kids , you

1:10:48

know .

1:10:50

Yeah , we've seen that one yeah

1:10:58

, we've seen how rebirth one six , maybe that was a pretty good yeah , yeah . Yeah , now I'm curious

1:11:00

um you said that you you think that they might have a , like a natural respect

1:11:02

for other living beings or

1:11:04

creatures ?

1:11:06

yeah , I mean , I can't prove that , but you

1:11:08

know , I feel , I honestly feel that you know

1:11:10

, it's like they don't want to be bothered with

1:11:13

us . So it's like , basically , if they

1:11:15

encounter , if they , if we have to run

1:11:17

in , run into each other , yeah

1:11:19

, they're gonna check you out , like they're

1:11:21

probably gonna snub their nose .

1:11:22

Yeah , you know go about their

1:11:24

business , like yeah how

1:11:28

do you like get out of my woods , would

1:11:30

you say ? That's more of a human characteristic

1:11:32

I

1:11:35

?

1:11:35

I mean it could be . I mean all you hear

1:11:37

now , depending on how you view this , which is interesting

1:11:39

because a lot of our non species

1:11:41

of primates act just like we do , and

1:11:44

I mean they have their own characteristics

1:11:46

. Uh , they're very

1:11:48

unique in their own way , um , with

1:11:51

their behaviors and , yeah , a lot

1:11:53

of them if you look at them , a lot of them , yeah , we could

1:11:55

contribute and say , yeah , they have a lot of human . What's

1:11:58

the word ? Yeah , qualifications

1:12:01

, not qualifications , but characteristics

1:12:03

, and some Of them we could relate

1:12:05

to . So , yeah , it depends on

1:12:07

how you look At that . Yeah , you could say human or you

1:12:10

know both non-human primates

1:12:12

, because which

1:12:14

is , you know , like

1:12:16

non-human primates , primates in general

1:12:19

, they

1:12:24

care more about and they pay attention to

1:12:26

their own kind . They're just like us . If we go

1:12:28

out in public with our family wife

1:12:30

, kids , whatever and

1:12:35

if we feel like there's a potential danger involved , we're going to be , we're going to pay attention

1:12:37

to that . You know we're going to , you know , keep our family close

1:12:39

and you know , and it's like , try to

1:12:41

avoid that situation . So I

1:12:43

feel it's the same scenario with bigfoot . You

1:12:46

know why not ? You know , um

1:12:48

, because they don't know what's like that they

1:12:50

don't know how . You know that

1:12:52

we're a pitch . We could be a potential threat to

1:12:54

them . Excuse me , I'm

1:12:56

hiccuping bourbon at the same time

1:12:59

my Sprite doing to me . So

1:13:02

yeah , why not ? You

1:13:05

know , I think there's a lot of things that we don't understand

1:13:07

about them . A

1:13:11

lot of times our problem is we just assume

1:13:13

the words or assume this and

1:13:15

that about them . So

1:13:18

yeah , there's a lot of different ways we can look at that

1:13:20

. So absolutely , yeah

1:13:23

, that's awesome . Yeah , so

1:13:26

sorry , I keep seeing my phone vibrate

1:13:28

. Buddy Olgoth is calling

1:13:30

me .

1:13:33

Luke , did you have any other questions or anything

1:13:35

? No cool

1:13:39

, cool . Uh , daniel , is there anything

1:13:41

that you would like to plug ? I know that you plugged

1:13:43

some things there in the beginning . Is there anything else that you'd like

1:13:45

to try to get out there ?

1:13:47

uh , well , there's a couple things

1:13:49

. Um , well , one and one

1:13:51

thing I'm working on uh I've gotten so

1:13:53

far into . It is one

1:13:56

of my new books . I've

1:13:59

been debating or trying to fight with myself

1:14:01

or figure out what I'm going to title it , but

1:14:04

I am trying to seriously make this very informative

1:14:07

. Compared to , like I have , other research guides , field

1:14:09

guides and stuff that I published and

1:14:11

stuff that I published , this

1:14:16

one here is taking more of a very objective

1:14:18

approach on a lot of things surrounding Bigfoot Sasquatch

1:14:20

. So far

1:14:22

, I've included a lot of research in there

1:14:24

, my

1:14:27

own experiences as well . Anybody

1:14:31

else out there that has an experience that wants to

1:14:33

share detailed information . I've

1:14:41

been putting the information out there . Nobody's got back to me , you know . I mean , I put the book

1:14:43

on hold in hopes that somebody might want to share something for me to include in it . So

1:14:45

I'm about to move on and just go

1:14:48

to hell with it . They have their opportunity , but

1:14:51

, um , so , yeah , I got a new book

1:14:53

I'm working on . Um , the

1:14:55

other thing is as far as my youtube channel

1:14:57

, um , like I said , with

1:15:00

a camping video that I'm putting out there , um

1:15:02

, one of the things that's new that I'm trying to do

1:15:04

is , um , you

1:15:07

know , share my research . Um

1:15:09

, well , I've been doing that . But as far as camping

1:15:12

wise camping in general I am trying to share

1:15:14

product and do product reviews , you

1:15:18

know , and do a little thing . I don't

1:15:20

know if you guys have watched it . Me and Julia , we

1:15:22

love watching these

1:15:25

guys . They're based out of the UK . One

1:15:28

in particular is based out of New Zealand . It's

1:15:31

called AB Camping , tony

1:15:33

and his dog , bruna . I mean , it's called AB Camping , tony

1:15:35

and his dog , bruna . I mean it's an awesome channel . It's a fun channel If you

1:15:37

like watching camping . One

1:15:39

thing that they do is they share different

1:15:41

camping . He

1:15:47

camps in different tents

1:15:49

, different styles , likes to show off his product . Now

1:15:55

, I've somewhat done that , but you know , I'm kind of trying to make a regular

1:15:58

thing out of it , if I can . Me and Julie . Julie's got me into doing

1:16:00

hammock camping Again , like I mentioned , I'm new into

1:16:02

that . I have some adjustments yet to

1:16:04

do with that . I

1:16:06

want to start putting content out there based

1:16:09

off of camping and , of course , throwing Bigfoot

1:16:11

in the mix . I

1:16:13

want people to start seeing that . I

1:16:15

want to try to be informative , educational

1:16:18

, because

1:16:21

a lot of people do miss my field videos . I

1:16:23

haven't put out field videos in a while and

1:16:26

I'm going to work on

1:16:28

doing that . So if you guys want to watch and follow

1:16:30

or anyone else out there , go

1:16:32

to YouTube and look for bigfoot zone

1:16:34

ecbro is

1:16:36

my youtube channel . Um , follow

1:16:39

and subscribe the content . And

1:16:41

, um , if there's something that you want

1:16:43

me to talk about when I'm on camera out there camping

1:16:45

, I try to do . I try my best

1:16:48

to cover certain topics , you know . You know , on

1:16:50

certain things people ask me I got a lot more

1:16:52

to do . Um , I don't know how often I'm

1:16:54

able to do this , but I will be trying to . I got a lot more to do . Um , I don't know how often I'm able to do this , but I will

1:16:56

be trying to put content out a lot more than

1:16:58

I have . Um , I'm

1:17:01

around , you know I'm . I don't have a lot

1:17:03

of subscribers , uh , or

1:17:06

I mean , compared to some of these bigger channels , I mean

1:17:08

I'm still down in the low . I got

1:17:10

3,700 , a little over 3,700

1:17:12

. And

1:17:16

but for the other content channels out there that do what I'm doing , I mean , yeah , some of them are in the

1:17:18

100,000 , so like , wow , you

1:17:20

know , maybe I don't know , maybe

1:17:22

they've had their channels longer than I have , I don't know

1:17:25

. But so , yeah , I try

1:17:28

my best to put content out there and keep these people

1:17:30

informed , and because there's a lot of

1:17:32

people that can't get out there like we can

1:17:34

.

1:17:34

So they want to see this .

1:17:36

It's their experience that we

1:17:38

get to share our experience and our time with them

1:17:40

. So

1:17:43

, just like these

1:17:46

what we call armchair researchers , I

1:17:49

have a lot of respect for them and people don't realize that these armchair researchers

1:17:51

, they watch us , they learn and pick up from us . There's only so much that they can gather from their computers of respect

1:17:53

for them . And people don't realize that these armchair researchers , they watch us , they they learn and pick up from

1:17:55

us . There's only so much they can gather from

1:17:58

their computers . So they

1:18:00

they turn to people like me and other researchers

1:18:02

that are out there exploring , finding things

1:18:04

, um , sharing our knowledge on

1:18:06

wildlife , because they can't get out

1:18:08

there but they want to . So

1:18:10

where their eyes , where

1:18:13

their eyes . So

1:18:15

they're always watching and

1:18:18

so yeah , so that's why I try

1:18:20

my best to put content out there when I'm able

1:18:22

to . So basically , the

1:18:24

. YouTube channel is the biggest thing the events May

1:18:26

25th in Bakersfield Community Grove Park in

1:18:28

Somerset the Pennsylvania Missing Legends

1:18:30

Festival . You

1:18:33

can find me all over Facebook and social

1:18:35

media . I'm not hard to find , daniel

1:18:37

Benoit B-E-N-O-I-T . I'm

1:18:41

on Instagram . I'm on Twitter , which is

1:18:43

known as an X now , so

1:18:47

yeah , so yeah , I'm

1:18:49

not hard to find . Or you can go to my website

1:18:52

, ecbrofoundercom

1:18:54

. If

1:18:58

you have any questions or want to share content or you want to come out and

1:19:00

have questions about the festival , you can email me ecbro98

1:19:05

at gmailcom . That's

1:19:07

pretty much about it .

1:19:09

Heck yeah , man , we really appreciate you

1:19:11

taking the time to come on and tell us about

1:19:14

these things .

1:19:16

Absolutely . Again , I want to apologize . I know sometimes I

1:19:20

get into rambling sometimes . Sometimes

1:19:23

, when you ask me a question , I'll start off explaining

1:19:25

or talking about something , but

1:19:27

I've been known to jump to something totally different

1:19:29

. I do that with presentations when I

1:19:31

go to speaking events . Yes , I use a presentation

1:19:34

to keep me on track , but I still do it . A

1:19:37

lot of times it's because I start talking

1:19:39

about something , then I'll bring me to something

1:19:42

else and I start talking about that . Then I'll come

1:19:44

back to where I started , because usually there's

1:19:46

a reason or a connection between the two

1:19:48

random things I just talked about . So

1:19:50

I just have a weird way of presenting things .

1:19:54

It's easy to ramble on , especially whenever you're

1:19:56

passionate about the topic .

1:19:59

Oh yeah , absolutely , Absolutely so

1:20:01

. And , yeah

1:20:03

, this is my first podcast in a little while . Well , it's

1:20:05

been a couple of months , but I had a couple

1:20:07

more . I was supposed to do this month before you

1:20:09

guys and I was like , I was one guy

1:20:11

I was supposed to do on Friday and the guy

1:20:13

contacted me early in the week . I think , oh

1:20:16

man , I'm gonna be out camping . I'm sorry , I totally

1:20:18

forgot all about you , um , but I'm gonna be in the

1:20:20

woods . You know , um

1:20:22

, technically , I probably could have done it . I did

1:20:24

have signal out there , but , um

1:20:26

, I just didn't know

1:20:28

how well , I didn't want to take a chance I have . I

1:20:31

prefer to do it when I'm here at home , because I got

1:20:33

good Wi-Fi here now . So

1:20:36

, yeah , I prefer to just wait till I'm home to do

1:20:38

it .

1:20:39

I don't want to be out in the woods , you

1:20:41

know .

1:20:42

Sometimes when I go camping , if I have signals . Sometimes

1:20:44

I've been known to do a Facebook Live

1:20:46

video , but that's about it .

1:20:48

Oh , that'd be cool .

1:20:51

Yeah , we'll definitely be on the lookout

1:20:53

for for more of your content , for sure absolutely

1:20:57

yeah um , yeah

1:20:59

, go ahead , I'm sorry , we'll see you at

1:21:01

um the pa bigfoot

1:21:03

, nothing legends will be there that

1:21:06

weekend oh , absolutely

1:21:08

.

1:21:08

And hey , guys , I mean if you're , you

1:21:10

know , coming out there to attend and cool , but

1:21:12

if you guys , you guys are both . If

1:21:15

you want to do a pre-recording podcast

1:21:17

or interview people , because there'll be other eyewitnesses

1:21:19

, there'll be other people's stories out there . Some

1:21:22

of my speakers have got experiences , so

1:21:24

excited for all the conventions we're going to be

1:25:45

a part of this year . I'm a little nervous

1:25:47

.

1:25:49

I am Like I don't know . Like

1:25:51

being right here in my room I

1:25:54

got all the confidence in the world because I'm

1:25:56

behind the microphone and the computer . But

1:25:58

we go out there and we're in the public . I

1:26:02

might start getting shy and nervous and

1:26:04

I might start maybe stuttering

1:26:06

.

1:26:06

You'll be

1:26:08

fine , I'm sure you

1:26:11

already feel it with your question . I

1:26:14

think so . You already feel it with your question . I think so You're

1:26:51

capture photographic evidence of

1:26:53

Bigfoot , armed only with a camera

1:26:55

in your wicks ? A

1:26:58

challenge of Chupacabra in

1:27:00

a nocturnal game of pregnancy In

1:27:05

Puerto Rico , in the desert , with

1:27:10

the only moon to

1:27:12

guide you ? That sounds

1:27:14

weird To guide me .

1:27:18

What was

1:27:20

the first one here . Well

1:27:27

, the Chupacabra , that's a thing

1:27:29

, isn't it ? They had discovered that . Yeah

1:27:32

, I don't

1:27:34

know . I think I'm going to go down to Puerto Rico

1:27:36

and play a game

1:27:38

of hide and seek with the chupacabra . I

1:27:41

feel like , seeing as that Bigfoot is the hide and

1:27:43

seek champion , going up against the chupacabra

1:27:45

, I should have a chance .

1:27:48

They're bug-sucking creatures . You want to take that

1:27:50

chance . I'm not a goat . Thing

1:27:56

is they might have a taste for humans

1:27:58

, as well , do

1:28:06

I get

1:28:08

? To become a chupacabra after

1:28:11

no , I just die .

1:28:11

Yeah , oh well , that's no fun , I guess

1:28:13

. No , I'm still sticking with my answer . I'm still sticking with my answer . That makes it . Oh Well , that's

1:28:15

no fun , I guess . No , I'm still sticking with my answer . I'm

1:28:18

still sticking with my answer . It

1:28:20

gives it an edge .

1:28:22

I think I'm going to get a figure . I'm going to try to figure

1:28:24

it out Bigfoot .

1:28:26

Yeah , you get out there your camera

1:28:28

dies .

1:28:30

Well , that works out . I've got a couple

1:28:32

cameras .

1:28:33

I was going to say isn't that your current situation ? Right now

1:28:35

, your batteries are dead in the camera . Yeah

1:28:39

, you

1:28:44

better get ready then and get some batteries .

1:28:47

And some extra batteries . That's

1:28:49

it , if anybody wants to donate batteries

1:28:51

Luke needs some for his camera

1:28:57

.

1:28:57

All right , man . Well , this was fun . I don't

1:28:59

have anything else to add .

1:29:01

See you next week . I'm not

1:29:03

after the saying of the spawning or no .

1:29:06

See you next week . Everybody , Thank

1:29:27

you .
