Lisa's new memoir, Dear Denise: Letters to the Sister I Never Knew, tells the story of growing up after the death of sister Denise. Denise was murdered, along with Cynthia Wesley, Carole Robertson, and Addie Mae Collins, in the bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church in 1963. Lisa's life was one of learning who she was in her own family and the world around her. She tells her story to Denise through letter throughout her life.
