Today, we are chatting all about how self care is is for the soul. I love the term, self care, but I cringe at the way it is used. Self care is supposed to feed your soul. When I say this, we sometimes forget that health is not just about losing weight. That is not really “health”, that is weight loss. Sure, it could lead to better health, but health is really when we are: nourishing our body, have good, genuine relationships, getting great sleep and feel energized the next day, having a more of a positive outlook on life and a better mental approach to your day <— This is health.
