Having spent twelve years in Catholic school, I have a well-established relationship with guilt and embarrassment around sex. Why is this such a common experience, it's almost a cliche? The major religions have a lot in common when it comes to sex and the need to control people's sexual behaviors - from who they have sex with, to how and when.
