Between the masterful storytelling of Persephone and the all-star cast she has assembled to bring this campaign to life, it is hard not to fall in love with this show. Its beautiful, messy, and so intriguing that I was quickly drawn in. Now I wait eagerly for each new episode to give me yet another glimpse of this wonderful world.

I came across this podcast while I was listening to as many showcase episodes as possible for the 2020 Audio Verse Awards nominees. This was easily one of my favorites, and stood out in that I really loved the characters and wanted to keep listening even though I had no idea what was going on (the showcase episode being right in the middle of the story).I loved it so much, I went back and I've started listening to the whole thing from the beginning. Good news: it starts out super strong! The sound quality & editing is solid, and the roleplaying and world-building is really good.If you're looking to get into an actual-play podcast with a great magic-meets-modern-tech setting, good production value, and really excellent characters, Fast Times at D&D High is for you!
