Cold and hot therapies are like shock treatments for our bodies. Cold exposure, like ice baths or cold showers, can improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and even boost our immune system. On the other hand, heat therapy, like saunas or hot yoga, can promote relaxation, detoxification, and even muscle recovery. Alternating between these extremes can really challenge our body's adaptive mechanisms and promote overall health and well-being.
