Femme in Focus explores the wide range of young girls’ perspectives and experiences during quarantine, and brings light to current events and mental health. Topics include, but are not limited to, emotions spawned from social distancing, the ignited black lives matter movement, the severity of ableism, and more. We hope our diverse audiences can find community in these isolated times, be exposed to the different experiences identity groups tackle, and feel inclined to fight alongside each other for the betterment of Generation Z.

Each episode spans roughly 30 minutes, and focuses on a new girl’s experience every episode in a traditional interview manner. The host and guest engage in conversations regarding what ‘quarantine’ means to them, and how it’s shaped their past few months as a teenager, and other fundamental events from 2020 that’ll go down in history. Mental health will be a vital focal point. It’ll explore the commonality of what each teen goes through, yet showcase the distinction and complexity of each character.
