Narrated & Edited by Bertie BrosnanMy very first podcast - it will improve in quality as time goes on. **Was originally a YouTube Video but Copyrighting laws aren't going with us on YouTube so I am moving this series over to Podcasts.**In this series I will delve into the very films that shaped me as a person and filmmaker, they began my crusade to become a storyteller. These podcasts are not movie reviews but more experiential recalling. I am interested in how films impact culture and people. 'IT' is believed to be straight horror but in my experience, it's more than just that; it's a psychological study of the human condition and in my opinion is an essential story for humanity.'It' is believed to be straight horror but in my experience, it's more than just 'Horror', it's a psychological study of the human condition.Ghost Story by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution licence (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)Source: http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/index.html?isrc=USUAN1300034Artist: http://incompetech.com/IT (1990):It is a 1990 American-Canadian supernatural horror drama miniseries directed by Tommy Lee Wallace and adapted by Lawrence D. Cohen from the Stephen King novel of the same name. The story revolves around a predatory shapeshifter which has the ability to transform itself into its prey's worst fears, allowing it to exploit the phobias of its victims. It mostly takes the form of a sadistic, wisecracking clown called Pennywise played by Tim Curry. The protagonists are The Lucky Seven, or The Losers Club, a group of outcast kids who discover Pennywise and vow to destroy him by any means necessary. The series takes place over two different time periods, the first when the Losers first confront Pennywise as children in 1960, and the second when they return as adults in 1990 to defeat him a second time after he resurfaces.Bertie Brosnan is an autodidact filmmaker who practices the disciplines of screenwriting, film producing, acting, directing, and everything else in between. He has never been to film school but has had plenty screen acting training in Ireland and the United States and some writing training here in Ireland. Bertie is most known for writing, producing, directing and starring in his feature film titled 'Con'. His last two short films, 'Sineater' & 'Jacob Wrestling With The Angel' had critical acclaim with both reaching 'Cannes Short Film Corner' in consecutive years and receiving many 'Official Selections' at international film festivals, with lots of other regular screenings at filmmaking events too. Both those films earned nominations for directing, acting, editing; and Sineater won a Cinematography award at 'Limerick Film Festival'.His free filmmaking ebook is on the way.Get in touch: [email protected] my podcasts are available on iTunes: http://apple.co/2gq0rCq Soundcloud: http://bit.ly/2l2blDvStitcher: http://bit.ly/2l4SQhSSubscribe for more videos ► http://bit.ly/2wBBzNNFacebook: http://bit.ly/2xK2PhjTwitter: http://bit.ly/2xS0Yb0Instagram: http://bit.ly/2xfoopX
