October 4, 1978, a body was found on the side of a rural road in Rock Rapids, Iowa, and remained a Jane Doe until January 31, 2006, when she was finally identified as 23-year-old Wilma June Nissen. Due to the state of decomposition and lack of details surrounding her last known whereabouts, the case remains unsolved.
