Gratitude is the attitude, right?


But what sort of gratitude?


You might be thinking, what do you mean what sort of gratitude? How many sorts are there?

Well, as it turns out there are 5 levels/types of gratitude and this is exactly what we are talking about today.


I recently became aware of these levels through one of my mentors and wanted to share it with you, because it is mind-blowing!

  1. No gratitude- complaining and being a victim!- 99% of people do this, without even knowing.

  2. Being grateful for the things you have in your life- your health, family, running water, food, money, your house etc. - Most people who have some level of awareness operate here and that is a good thing.

  3. (Here is the big one)- Being grateful for the things you do not yet have in your life!- What? How can I be grateful for the things I don't yet have?-- well ponder on that, cause I will come back to it another day.

  4. Being grateful for the bad things that are happening in your life- like having to homeschool (yet again) your 2.4 kids whilst trying to get some work done and keep your sanity!

  5. Realising and being grateful for that there are no good or bad things. There are just things happening in our life and they are happening FOR you, not TO you.
