Welcome back to this VERY SPECIAL episode of FIO! March is Brain Injury Awareness month, so Maddy wanted to open up the conversation on Invisible Injuries. When Maddy was young, her sister was in a terrible accident that left her with a brain injury. In this episode, Maddy tells her perspective of the accident and her sister's difficult recovery. Halfway through the episode, Maddy interviews her sister and mother about what happened and they share their advice to people unfamiliar with invisible accidents/TBI.
