Fire & Climate Summit

The goal of the summit is to begin a dialog about the intersection of climate change, wildfires, forests, and human communities. The summit promotes adaptation and mitigation of negative effects on our human communities and our elder relatives. The summit empowers and educates participants to use their voices to promote climate smart forest and conservation practices. The Fire & Climate Summit podcast includes the recordings of live seminars conducted during May 2020.Fire experts, ecological restoration professionals, indigenous eco-cultural specialists and practitioners, and local organizations collaborate in creating the Fire & Climate Summit.
