Growing up in a small, cold and empty apartment in Russia with his older sister and alcoholic mom, Oleg was born into poverty.  A brave and desperate choice to leave his family at a young age and enter an orphanage, Oleg learned the harsh realities of the world.  At 12, he was finally adopted by a family in the United States and began a new life.

Tackling his fears of judgement and rejection, he learned the hard way how to overcome some extremely tough odds.  Lessons in the resilience it takes to stand up and share your truth, or to realize you’re never alone, or that your story matters.
