Why is it that when we are contending for something, we do it out of a place of desperation? We fight for ourselves, forgetting that if He is for us, who can stand against? When Jesus was on the cross, He said, “It is finished,” not, "To be continued..” We need to realize the truth of what He did on the cross; we need to come to the realization of who we really are in Jesus.
