In these two iconic scriptures, the Devil seeks to point out everything that could be possible, if we only focus upon ourselves. Here in this scripture Jesus’ focus is not upon advancing any wants or desires that he has but on honoring the Lord alone. As we begin the season of Lent, do we seek to serve the Lord or do we more attempt to benefit ourselves no matter the cost?
