There is an upcoming event this Sunday June 14th on Moosehead Lake in Maine that is a Catch event only for smallmouth bass and perch, They are calling this event the Invasive Species Fishing Derby.. We will be talking to Corey Vose who is the president of the Man vs. Bass Maine Trail  a few other residents  and avid bass anglers about their thoughts on this event in their state..It's unfortunate that the organizers of this event are closed minded to the reality of what Bass fishing brings into this state. Just this year, there was a report that came out stating that bass fishing was the #1 revenue driver for fishing in Maine.
