Today we have Minol Tutida, BJJ Black Belt and Head Coach at Equipe Mistre Wilson Jiu Jitsu in Preston. Minol was kind enough to give me some of his time recently and we went through how he originally started BJJ, how long he’s been in the martial art for, and some pretty amazing stories of his time in Japan fighting for Deep, which was a channel for fighters to potentially fight in PRIDE.

He’s had a fascinating life, moving between countries and continuing his BJJ journey, and has had the privilege of having a lineage directly under a 9th degree red belt (the highest belt that can be achieved by anyone other than a founder of the martial art).
