Many of us struggle to overcome society's message that you need to look a certain way to be valued.

Adopting these messages/beliefs, willingly or not, tends to create debilitating body images struggles for people.

This negative body image then permeates into nearly every aspect of our life and diminishes our life experience.

We end up spending our days living with someone (ourselves) who we don't accept, love, or appreciate unconditionally. And well... that sucks.

But there are steps you can take towards embracing your imperfections, accepting yourself as-is - all while still pursuing your health and fitness goals.

The result is peace and freedom and finally getting out of a lifetime sentence in your food and body prison.

In episode 232 of Fitness & Sushi, Deanna and I explain how we got to where we are today, and why it's so difficult for people to change the way they see themselves. Then we break down how to start healing your relationship with your body so that you can start living your full life experience.

In this episode - “Embracing Imperfection: How to Love Your Body at Every Stage", you'll learn...

🔶 Why chasing perfection often leads us further from body acceptance

🔶 Strategies for resisting societal pressures and overcoming negative self-talk

🔶 What it really means to have a "good" body

🔶 How the media influences our body image

🔶 How embracing your imperfections can lead to a more empowering life experience

🔶 Why Tony was surprised to find out that Deanna has been trying to control him

…and much more!

Your Ideal Body isn’t dictated by superficial beauty standards. Nor does it have anything to do with changing your body so you’ll feel accepted by others or deemed beautiful and worthy by society.Your Ideal Body isn’t even a what - it’s a when. It’s the body you’re in when you’re no longer obsessing over your food and body. It’s when you’re comfortable and confident in your own skin. And it’s when you’re living your full life experience without fear of judgement from others or from yourself. For the last decade, thought leaders and world-class transformation coaches, Tony and Deanna Schober, have been plugging people into their Ideal Body Formula™ so they can ditch diet culture and naturally achieve their own unique Ideal Body by improving their relationships with food, body, exercise, and mind. From Tony’s binge eating disorder and debilitating body image struggles, to Deanna’s food and body obsession and yo-yo dieting, they’ve been there and done that.
