To young people in their 20s, Facebook may seem like a really antiquated form of social networking that not many people are effectively engaging with.
Business Insider stated that users aged 55-65 years old are the fastest growing demographic. So that’s fantastic if your sales targets are in this population. If you’re trying to engage with the younger generation, then it may be a different story.
In this episode, I discuss how I manage my Facebook Groups and the tips and tricks that work for me. I list all of the wonderful reasons why I love them and the organisational tools that are very important when you’re running your own business. I then compare them to the drawbacks and share with you how your group may not be engaging everyone effectively due to algorithm problems.
If you’re still keen on Facebook, I run you through the top 5 things that you can start implementing to revive or begin your group so that it builds a strong sense of community and everybody loves participating.
We finish off by talking about other platforms that are really useful to begin a community around your business. Not everyone loves Facebook or feels like it fits in with their preferred method of communication, so we’ll find you one that does!
