In this episode, we take our first proper plunge into Werner Herzog as a filmmaker. Yes, we have covered two of his films before, but more in the theme of an episode, whether it be about Death Row or part of our Nic Cage extravaganza. We finally get into the nitty gritty of Herzog and what makes him tick. First, we go back to his directorial debut in Signs Of Life, a very still, calm film about a German soldier stationed in Greece during World War II. Then, we discuss a film that needs no introduction, Aguirre, Wrath Of God.
