For the second episode of Focused Inspection (RCSI's student podcast), we are delighted to be joined by Dr Vida Hamilton, Consultant Anaesthesiologist in University Hospital Waterford and National Clinical Advisor and Group Lead for Acute Hospitals with the HSE. In addition to discussing Dr Hamilton's path from chemical engineering to anaesthesiology to a senior management role in the HSE, we will discuss sepsis, in particular, the National Sepsis Programme which Dr Hamilton lead before beginning her current role with the HSE.
