Thankfully, Neil Warnock provided some sparkle by hurling abuse from the sideline of a Middlesbrough U23s match. Meanwhile, Liverpool auctioned off various sofas and signed Roy Hodgson photos from their old training ground. Who says the magic has faded from football?
