In 2017, the NAC USA introduced an initiative, a teaching about understanding Christian giving on a deeper level. This teaching includes topics such as giving is joy, giving is love, giving is faith, and the most recent one, giving is mission.

As we journey through the season of Thanksgiving, we want to reflect on what the concept of Thanksgiving means. We have a day set aside for Thanksgiving both as a holiday in the US and as a Sunday service in our church. However, as part of His church, it is important to continually develop our understanding and ponder over what it means to give thanks to our God, and give to His work and His mission…

As the year ends, we contemplate what God has done and what we have done with Him in advancing His mission, not only as a group, but also as individuals. Giving is an attribute of a Christian; it is not simply giving our offerings, but it also means giving in our daily life.

It is also important to understand how giving ties to the mission of Christ. He commissioned His apostles to go and make disciples. The Lord wants us to be part of His work for all to find Him and His salvation.

The mission of New Apostolic Church is: "Reaching out to all people in order to teach them the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to baptize them with water and the Holy Spirit. Providing soul care and cultivating a warm fellowship in which everyone shall experience the love of God and the joy of serving Him and others."

When we see that we are part of a bigger purpose, a mission that expands over the course of centuries, we begin to understand how it involves all of us. And the giving of our efforts and financial contributions help to accomplish that mission. We want to advance the mission of Christ.

En 2017, la INA EE. UU. presentó una iniciativa, una enseñanza sobre entender el dar cristiano en un nivel más profundo. Esta enseñanza incluye temas como dar es gozo, dar es amor, dar es fe, y el más reciente, dar es misión.

A medida que avanzamos en la temporada de Acción de Gracias, queremos reflexionar sobre el significado del concepto de Acción de Gracias. Tenemos un día reservado para Acción de Gracias tanto como día feriado en los Estados Unidos y como Servicio dominical en nuestra iglesia. Sin embargo, como parte de Su iglesia, es importante desarrollar continuamente nuestro entendimiento y reflexionar sobre lo que significa dar gracias a nuestro Dios, y dar a Su obra y a Su misión...

A medida que finaliza el año, contemplamos lo que Dios ha hecho y lo que hemos hecho con Él para hacer avanzar Su misión, no solo como grupo, sino también como individuos. Dar es un atributo de un cristiano; no es simplemente dar nuestras ofrendas, también significa dar en nuestra vida diaria.

También es importante entender cómo dar se vincula con la misión de Cristo. Él comisionó a Sus apóstoles para ir y hacer discípulos. El Señor quiere que seamos parte de Su obra para que todos lo encontremos a Él y a Su salvación.

La misión de la Iglesia Nueva Apostólica es: «Ir hacia todas las personas para enseñarles el Evangelio de Jesucristo y bautizarlas con agua y con el Espíritu Santo. Ofrecer asistencia espiritual y cultivar una estrecha comunión en la cual cada uno experimente el amor de Dios y la alegría de servir a Él y a los demás».

Cuando vemos que somos parte de un propósito mayor, de una misión que se expande a lo largo de los siglos, comenzamos a comprender cómo nos involucra a todos. Y tanto dar de nuestros esfuerzos como nuestra contribución financiera ayudan a cumplir esa misión. Queremos avanzar la misión de Cristo.
