What we are seeing with the show of acts portrayed by those who are looting and rioting in the name of George Floyd, is like when you punch into a wall after being so baited and instigated, and then pretty much laughed at for being angry.  The feeling that there isn't much else to do except wreak havoc consumes you.  And I've heard the whispers of that already, the thought that we may never overcome this.  But I have decree'd and declared that we will see the day of victory over racism and injustice.  Along with many others, I am fighting through prayer, through love, and maintaining my peace; for anger, lashing out, or pushing the divide will not do it.

While our anger rages on, our pains and heartstrings being pulled and tugged in the wrong way, the set up is to fight each other - the trap.  From the very beginning, and we shall also see too, that in the end, the only thing to blame is the unresolved history.  No matter how hurt or fueled with fire, we must never allow ourselves to blow up in a disastrous kind of way.  We only add to the narrative in which our oppressors have proclaimed.  If we involve ourselves in acts that are not considered justified, how do we expect to get justice?

Our seeds of peace through the peaceful protesting are now infiltrated with weeds of bad behavior.  I would like to remind you that Martin Luther King Jr. did not condone rioting when he made this statement, "Rioting is the language of the unheard," so please don't misuse his words.  While it is the language and the adverse effect in this 'cause & effect relationship', doesn't make it right, nor does it solve any real problems.  It will in turn make things worse.

Are we still fighting for George, or for some free stuff?

Ephesians 4:26-27 tells us to "be angry, yet do not sin.  Do not let the sun set upon your anger. Give no opportunity to the devil."

What we've been seeing is the opposite manifestations of that, the sun set, and all hell has broken loose.  Images of real life zombies from the walking dead, just dazed walking towards our own demise, but not before ripping some merchandise from off a shelf.  Forcing militia to be lifted up against us, when we were only trying to fight for justice.  Now, our oppressors are looking even the more down on us.  Our fight is surely a laugh to them.

We know those cops aren't innocent, we saw it on camera.  But what about you, those who are rioting and looting?  What is this, a self defense crime?  No it's not.  After committing a crime, you are no longer innocent. So what now?  Stop what you're doing, and think.  How is looting going to help our problem?  We are not hurting them, they will still have their jobs, they will still be free.  Meanwhile, after you are done committing your crimes in retaliation, our communities will be the ones to suffer from this, more of us will be the ones to have to pay for it.  Please, think.
