Welcome to the Fortune Cookie Prophet Podcast, a show that discusses religious scriptures, doctrines and other religious topics from a skeptical point of view. I came up with the name for the podcast after watching the horror movie, Fortune Cookie Prophecies and thinking about the premise behind the movie, which led me to ponder the fact that a lot of religious leaders come up with nebulous sounding prophecies or predictions that are about as accurate as a message from a fortune cookie, and about as meaningful to real life; you know, just specific enough to sound like they apply to a situation, but vague enough to be difficult too disprove.The Fortune Cookie Prophet Podcast is available wherever podcasts are found.
