Rakesh Shah is the founder of Thrive Growth Partners, a firm which specialises in providing straightforward and impactful advice that helps take ambitious young businesses to the next stage. A key area of focus is helping technology and sustainability businesses get investor-ready so they raise their next round successfully. Rakesh also provides part-time CFO services, partnering with businesses over the long term to help them scale. Since launching in February, Rakesh helped Rightcharge raise their seed round and is currently working with several startups who are actively fundraising, with several companies launching rounds in the new year.

Prior to Thrive Growth Partners, Rakesh was Finance Director of Highview Power, a cleantech / sustainable energy tech startup. While FD, Rakesh helped the business raise tens of millions in funding, grow from team significantly and expand into multiple geographies. Before moving into the startup world Rakesh held various roles at large corporates, most recently Engie and Publicis Group.
