This week, after some further calls to action, Frank discusses the 4th of July holiday that just passed. Mentioning the big annual celebration in Canyon, TX, he notes some nuances of having the day in the middle of the week (Tuesday this year) and why he is grateful to live in the USA. He emphasizes the opportunities available to us all here, including those to make this podcast and write a novel.
He then gets in to some recent Twitter interactions where two alleged "celebrities" built a relationship with him to later (unsuccessfully) attempt a scam. He laments that such platforms, despite all the potential good conversations and connections, are abused in these ways.
Finally, Frank discusses Priscilla's top-billed starring role in a short-lived CBS show called The American Girls from 1978, reviewing the pilot episode. Despite having some potential with 70s kitsch and innuendo, it largely failed due to its stiff ABC competition from a popular show that Priscilla guested on three times.
The theme song is called Retro Funk by SoulProdMusic and can be found at pixabay.com.
The American Girls episode "The Cancelled Czech" is available through the Ross Martin tribute site on YouTube. Sincerest thanks for the ability to view and review it.
