Being a therapist is such a gift in my life. It's hard for me to believe I almost didn't pursue it. I was raised to be a wife and mom. Period. But then I experienced some trauma in my early twenties, and I started to change my idea of what adulthood would look like. I started taking the idea of a career seriously.
