Freo de Janeiro’s unique name is a combination of Fremantle, also known as Freo in Western Australia and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Abid was raised in Freo, enjoying the laid-back lifestyle, and fell in love with Brazilian culture after visiting Rio for both the World Cup and the Olympics. This podcast draws on the inspiration and influence from these places by aiming to drive a much wider theme that explores diverse cultures and people.
