It must be heartbreaking to be someone in the government who has spent their entire career preparing for this, only to be ignored so that Jared Kushner could lead the government response when the rubber really did hit the road.I recommend pairing this episode with the May 7th episode of Trumpcast, which covers the steps that Jared Kushner took to combat the virus on a national level without any past experience, extensive history of drills, established emergency and healthcare contacts, knowledge of best practices, expertise, or even a basic plan.
