In this episode I interview Charles Collins from the podcast The Way of Craftmanship, which is about applying the principles of learning and applying a craft, to life itself - or as he puts it: A way of skilful living.

Since time immemorial people have practiced a craft in their life, be it woodworking, metalworking, the path or the warrior or even just being a parent. There is much to learn from the accumulated knowledge of many generations of skilled practitioners.

What kind of value do we bring to others in what we do? What is an appropriate attitude of mind? How well do we know our material, or ourselves? By which processes do we act? What are the tools of our craft?

How do we incrementally refine ourselves and our craft? How do we affectively apply discernment regarding quality of craft and choice of mentors?

What are the four key stages of craftmanship and what happens if someone completes them?

This, and more, is explored in this episode. This was a learning experience for me, and may well be for you too.
