On the morning of Wednesday, February 14, 2018 Michael Spencer Rogers, 63, barricaded himself with a gun in the Glenbrook Road house where he was raised after police arrived at the home to exercise a search warrant. Charges of terroristic threats and obstructing the administration of a law or government function were filed against Rogers on January 12 after he fell behind on property tax payments and he allegedly posted a note on his door threatening to harm anyone coming to evict him.  Police surrounded the house and spoke to Rogers through a megaphone in an attempt to encourage him to come out peaceably.
