It was 20 years ago that surgical and medical teams from Hasbro Children’s and Women & Infants Hospitals in Providence, R.I., joined to become New England pioneers in correcting twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, a potentially fatal and previously unfixable condition involving a mother and her unborn babies.
