Following a delay caused by an extended DDoS attack on their podcast hosting provider (possibly perpetrated by the Dark Army, seeking to silence all analysis of their true intentions – who can say?), Craig and James have returned at last to serve up another healthy helping of Mr Robot meandering with a generous side portion of WandaVision wandering.

This time around, in a discussion of Mr Robot’s sixth episode, our hosts dissect the deadly (and possibly cosmic) connection between Elliot Alderson and self-styled apocalyptic shaman Fernando Vera, the psychology behind Wellick vs Knowles: Clash of Titans, and the cruel irony of Angela’s journey towards self-realisation. With reference to Shakespeare, procedural crime dramas, and the grimy psychogeography around Glasgow’s now defunct Cafe Insomnia, it’s a surgical investigation that burrows beneath the raw pain of one of Mr Robot’s most harrowing moments to trace the power play between Elliot’s fluctuating personas and the tragedy of missed chances.

Meanwhile, in Westview, New Jersey - as WandaVision’s sixth episode embraces spooky Halloween fun, dime-store Bronze Age superhero references galore, and millennial sitcom goofiness – our hosts hit upon a hot Mr Robot scoop. Yes, brace yourselves and set faces to stunned as Craig and James reveal the true identity of a long-list third Alderson sibling! It’s a revelation just blinding enough to obscure some ill-advised backtracking in the WandaVision theories/predictions department (*cough*).

PLUS, bonus discussions aplenty on all things currently cultural, including a lengthy dishonour roll (with ignominious appearances from Joss Whedon, Gina Carano and the late Rush Limbaugh), some fresh D&D-related news, and the exciting reports of dynamic musical artist and wordsmith Moor Mother’s upcoming Black Quantum Futurism residency at CERN. All this and an exclusive episode of fPopriety in which our hosts sing the praises of Dua “real-life Dazzler” Lipa, and Craig waxes enthusiastic about latin pop princesa Danna Paola and her recently live-streamed concert whilst bemoaning Universal Music Mexico’s eleven most annoying lawyers.
