Happy Black History Month! To commemorate BHM 2021, I asked my favorite coworker Ms. Lisa to join me for her all-time favorite film, "Purple Rain", starring Prince and Morris Day. Prince's legacy is part of the fabric of black American history, as his music broke color lines at a time where people did not see a black, male, experimental rocker with an unforgettable stage presence. "Purple Rain" started it all for funk legends such as Morris Day, Wendy and Lisa, and more.
