December 6th is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, an annual recognition of the Montreal Massacre. On December 6, 1989, 14 women were murdered at Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal, Quebec.
In this episode, we remember the fourteen women who were murdered, and reflect upon the actions we can take to prevent gender-based violence in our communities.
We learned about the women's stories from this article from Global News (https://globalnews.ca/news/6187845/montreal-massacre-victims/#genevieve).
