0:44

What's up E3? Welcome to Isien Gamescoop.

0:46

I'm your host E3 in Hatfield. Joining me this

0:48

week here in the studio is Nick Limone,

0:50

sitting right next to me right here. Hi, everybody.

0:53

Not an optical illusion. E3

0:56

taking up the same meat space together

0:58

right now. Also joining us is Sam

1:00

Claiborne.

1:02

E3. The studio looks awesome. I love the colors

1:04

you guys get going there. Yeah. Looks okay right now.

1:06

I like it. And Justin Davidson's here as well.

1:09

Scoop. And we got a great

1:11

show for you this week. We'll talk about E3.

1:14

What delays, what's going on with 708 attempt

1:16

to rise from the grave. It's not

1:18

good news for e3 esplers. We've

1:20

also gotten the first big game delay of

1:23

twenty twenty three that we'll discuss briefly.

1:26

But first, Sam, I

1:28

I understand you've beaten dead space.

1:31

Yeah. E3 yeah. I bet

1:33

E3 the remake. It's it's a fantastic I

1:35

couldn't put it down. I E3 spent

1:38

twelve hours straight playing it in one of the days

1:40

the last weekend, which felt so

1:42

good, you know. I would just get up and and

1:45

eat once and then go back and play in more.

1:47

I just had data myself and it was so nice.

1:49

Yeah. I love it. I I think it's exactly like

1:52

a E3 remake like

1:54

I talked about in the previous week. It's

1:56

it's the type of game that I just love playing, and I

1:58

wanna play more of, and the stories, corny,

2:01

and and, you know, the the added dialogue and stuff

2:03

and add E3. But the graphics add a lot

2:05

and the mood adds a lot is is

2:07

is done much better. And the

2:09

guns and the and the killing feels

2:11

so fun and just you

2:13

just get overwhelmed sometimes and it's great. And,

2:15

like, I wish I'd started on a harder mode. I'm never

2:17

gonna play through it again on super hard. But now

2:20

I look back and I was like, oh, I did play through this

2:22

originally on once,

2:24

and then I played through the original again on, like, ultra

2:26

hard mode. III think I tried to get all the achievements

2:28

in it. And that was really fun. So I do

2:31

recommend it. I mean, I think it's it's really great.

2:33

And I did that for the resident E3 as I've talked

2:35

about. So I don't know. I think this E3 evil

2:37

eight or some of the two or three remake are just some

2:39

of the best most accessible fun

2:41

games to sit down and play with

2:43

They're just smart and beautiful and fun to play.

2:45

Oh, yeah. I'm enjoying it too and I'm at

2:48

ten hours right now. So I should be just

2:50

about ready to wrap things up. Maybe I can do that

2:52

tonight, actually. But all weapons

2:54

are using the most.

2:56

I just whatever I have the most ammo for

2:58

at the moment. I mean, I I definitely

3:00

use the plasma cutter. Overall, I use the plasma

3:02

cutter the most.

3:03

Yeah. I liked maxing out the

3:05

plasma cutter this time -- Yeah. -- which think a

3:07

lot people probably do, but just adding a

3:09

lot of damage capacity to that and then buying ammo

3:11

for it all time was really fun. It's just

3:13

such a great weapon to use on anything

3:16

and you get better at it. It's like, I feel

3:18

like that weapon I know better than a lot of weapons

3:20

and other games. It's just great though.

3:22

I'm just it E3 so

3:23

natural. It's just it's cool that the first

3:25

one you get is the one that probably

3:28

feels the most satisfying and is probably the most

3:30

useful. It's also the one, like, the weapon

3:32

that it feels like the entire, like, roster

3:34

of enemies is designed around, like, being able

3:36

to take down with just the plasma cutter because there

3:38

is an achievement beating the game using

3:40

only the plasma

3:41

cutter, which

3:41

is so cool. But it

3:44

it's pretty straightforward if you just continue to upgrade

3:46

it. And it just E3 good to use. It's

3:48

one of the most iconic weapons of all

3:49

time. Yeah. That's great. Yeah. I was originally

3:52

thinking that would be hard with some of the bosses,

3:54

but what because some of them do you have some

3:57

vulnerabilities to it. But for

4:00

those, you have the the gravity or

4:02

whatever it's called the state one. E3 you

4:04

say Nick, can you can use a And a lot

4:06

of boss fights, you can throw stuff at them,

4:08

and there's, like, stuff around. So I think that's E3

4:10

clever too. I don't know what like, that's E3 that's what

4:12

these games takes. They take balance. And

4:15

this game constantly assesses the balance

4:17

of the game. It says, can you survive

4:19

with two kits of of

4:21

health left? Probably.

4:24

And then it, like, it gives you one

4:26

health back, you know, and then

4:28

you're, like, that's not enough. And it I

4:30

love that, you know. And, like, you I

4:32

play these games by hoarding like you do

4:34

with Alexa's and Final E3. Like, never use

4:36

an Alexa. Right? Looking for the end of

4:38

the game to see how to see if you got all

4:41

six. In this game, it's like, I look

4:43

at the end of, like, I'm really proud. I never used

4:45

all of this import I have, like, fifteen nodes

4:47

left

4:47

over. I'm, like, it was

4:48

probably E3, but it probably and if you plan hard,

4:50

then you know to use them all. Right? Because you have a E3.

4:53

Exactly.

4:53

Yeah. Yeah. You're playing it as

4:55

well. Yeah. I just started, so I'm in

4:57

chapter two or chapter three

4:59

right now. I I played the game

5:01

back when it came out back on three sixty, way

5:03

back when. But and forgive me

5:05

if I might be 708 old ground, but one thing

5:07

that just really caught me. The thing

5:09

that I really love about the game is that it it

5:12

it does the remake a lot of resident evil two

5:14

remake in that I know what happens in

5:16

the game, but it it kind of rearranges scenarios

5:18

in a way that E3 very fun and inventive.

5:20

And I like the idea of choosing

5:23

what sort of torture you're gonna induce on

5:25

yourself of this like rerouting the

5:27

power. It's like, hey, you need to power up this

5:29

elevator, which means you need to reroute the power

5:31

from the lights or the oxygen.

5:34

Yeah. What do you wanna do? And so

5:36

I'm like, that's such a difficult choice.

5:38

One, I'm very scared or two,

5:41

I'm about to run out of air and I'm also

5:43

very scared. So which one do I want to feel

5:45

a little bit less scared by? Yeah.

5:47

Yeah. It's great. I'll be wrapping that one up

5:49

soon. Justin, are you still exclusively playing factoria?

5:53

Well, almost, Steven. I after

5:56

a year of not being concerned

5:58

and not really caring about the eShop shutdown,

6:01

not very obsessive with my video again collecting

6:04

or downloading. I just didn't really care

6:06

that much that, like, it was going offline. All

6:08

of a sudden, it hit me all at once. I'm like,

6:10

oh my god, the eShop shutting down. Like, I

6:12

need to I need to get all those games I was

6:14

missing out on. And so I went

6:16

through here. I'll I have them on my desk E3,

6:18

actually. So I actually have some

6:21

on my here some of the evidence of what I've been

6:23

up to here at my desk. I have Professor

6:25

Layton in the E3 village. I

6:27

have Phoenix Wright. Justice for

6:29

all? I have Phoenix Wright as

6:32

attorney. I have Phoenix

6:34

Wright trials and tribulations and so

6:36

on. So on and so forth. I'm not gonna

6:38

name all by name. And so I like

6:41

I said, I just all of a sudden got

6:43

super concerned that, like, and I was trying

6:45

to explain this to my wife and she didn't get it at all.

6:47

I'm like, no, you don't get it. Like, I'm gonna have

6:49

Professor Layton's one through four

6:51

and six that I'm not gonna have

6:53

five, that I'm gonna have no way to buy five,

6:55

and how weird and crazy is that? And she's like,

6:58

that doesn't sound important at all. I don't care about

7:00

anything that you're saying right now. But I've

7:02

had fun kind of tracking down. I'm in a

7:04

spreadsheet of, like,

7:07

it's less cut and dry than you think. Because

7:09

there's some games that are trapped only

7:12

on the 3DSE shop. They were never ported.

7:14

They're not available E3. Then there's

7:16

other games like the Phoenix right games actually are

7:18

all available on the iOS and Android

7:20

stores and, you know, accessible and very playable

7:23

on tablets. And so you kinda gotta, like,

7:25

optimize you don't have to do this at all,

7:27

but me being me and my personality. I

7:29

felt like I had to optimize, like, where is the

7:31

best place for me to get each of these games.

7:35

Ended up buying the two new Phoenix Rise

7:37

games on the Switch. And long

7:39

story short, all of this all this

7:41

eShop shenanigans that I've been up to and spending

7:44

way too much money. I ended

7:46

up buying Professor Layton won,

7:48

Professor Layton in the E3 village, on

7:50

my iPad, and that's where I'm playing

7:52

it. Because they had they

7:54

had E3.

7:56

Shop E3 D. C. Shop? We use.

7:59

E3 33DSE shops are shutting

8:01

down. Not I mean, it is very

8:03

soon, but you still have, like, you still have, like, five

8:05

or six weeks.

8:06

Mhmm. It's still, like, nine. Right? Yeah.

8:09

March twenty seven. And the irony, I just

8:11

think it's funny that, like, I I've spent

8:13

a lot of money on the eShop and acquired these games,

8:15

I bought a couple of games on E3, But

8:17

what it led me to was to the app store and

8:19

to the very, very high

8:20

quality, very well done ports of

8:22

the original Professor Layton E3

8:24

and having

8:25

it I'm having a ton of fun

8:27

going through Professor Layton in the E3 village.

8:29

I love that game. That game was wonderful. I

8:31

got it. Which I didn't

8:33

remember There's a head. Were the are

8:35

the 3DS games still full price?

8:38

Yeah. Dude, yeah.

8:39

So probably E3 got that guy. Yeah.

8:43

You just missed. If you're listening to the show

8:45

now, the Phoenix Right Games are all on sale

8:47

for five bucks, which

8:49

E3 that sale is ended. But Professor Layton,

8:51

the two Professor Layton 3DS games are forty

8:54

dollars each on the

8:55

eShop. Wow. And

8:56

wait. E3. Were those only digitally distribute

8:59

distributed? E3 I

9:02

can't remember. I think they're either digital

9:04

only or if they're a physical

9:06

E3, the physical release is like two hundred bucks. Something

9:09

else. So

9:09

was a It was a rare 3DS

9:11

game. Yeah. III can't remember

9:13

which is which. I do have E3

9:16

deals tip This is

9:18

Professor Layton in the Spector's call,

9:21

which if that sounds unfamiliar to you,

9:23

that's because that's the UK release

9:25

of the fourth Professor Layton game, which

9:28

that game in the US is incredibly rare.

9:30

It's like two hundred and fifty dollars. You

9:32

can't get it. You can't find it. But

9:34

DSK are region free and you can still

9:36

get the UK version on the cheap. So

9:39

that's what I did. It's actually my only, you

9:41

know, my only Peggy rated

9:44

because it's not the E3 over there.

9:47

Professor Layton Game. And so

9:50

I was in France when Phoenix Wright

9:52

came out And I've that

9:54

that one I have

9:55

on, like, the European version of, and,

9:57

like, it's it's a bigger case.

9:59

Yeah.

10:00

It is. It's, like, clear. It's really cool.

10:02

And then I and in

10:04

that one, like, you know, they came in every language

10:06

in the EU. Yeah. That's it. That's exactly what it looks

10:08

like. It's just a little puff E3. I thought it was really cool on

10:10

that. Did it put Yeah. That's what's great about the

10:12

DS. You can play whatever you want.

10:14

Did they put the letter u in spots you want to

10:16

suspect?

10:16

Oh, yes. There's colors colors with u's

10:18

everywhere. But that's E3

10:20

proper because professor

10:21

Layden himself would spell color that way. It's

10:24

just Yeah. And you're the same song. I

10:27

didn't remember the twist in Professor Layton

10:29

in the E3 village until, like, you you know,

10:31

when I started

10:32

playing, I didn't remember. And then, like, four or five

10:34

hours in, I'm like, oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I remember

10:36

now. So And it kinda makes sense to

10:38

the theme of that game, which is, like, people are

10:40

giving me puzzles a whole lot. What's up with these

10:42

people? They always give me

10:43

puzzles. Yeah. It it's insane

10:46

the way that they integrate the puzzles into that game.

10:48

And so, you know,

10:50

I don't know. That's it. That's all I have to say about

10:53

that. Cool.

10:53

That's how I'm gonna end every time that I talk

10:55

at Gainskin from now on. I'm all

10:57

done. I'm all done talking about

10:58

that. By Crimson Shroudy, for the E3

11:01

shop shuts down. It's a very good RP

11:03

game. What game is that? Crimson Shoutage. It's the

11:05

it's the Yasumimatsu E3 Dundington

11:08

and Dragons inspired JRPG

11:11

that's eShop only for the 3DS.

11:13

He's a dude who made Final Fantasy tactics

11:15

tactics advance, all that stuff. Very

11:18

interesting board game sensibilities in that

11:20

game. I can make a note.

11:21

That's

11:22

a good shout. Another really good

11:25

Another good I I don't I'm not like, maybe

11:27

next week on the show, we could do, like, a deeper dive

11:29

on, like, a a list of games. But, like, another

11:31

really good one to shout out as A3DSE

11:33

shop exclusive gotta

11:35

protectors, G0TTA.

11:38

I'm

11:38

not familiar with that one.

11:44

Okay. E3 three.

11:47

Supposedly coming back this year, I believe E3

11:50

I did have a report this week that

11:53

should E3 return this June. It will

11:55

be without the participation of Nintendo or

11:57

PlayStation or Xbox. Which leaves

11:59

me

11:59

wondering, well, what are we even doing

12:01

there? What E3 because no other publishers,

12:04

EA doesn't go to e E3 anymore.

12:08

Well, So it depends, like, you

12:10

know, there's been what I think it was Sony

12:13

and, like, there's there's

12:15

not attending e three at We're not gonna have

12:17

any announcements. We're not gonna be in the city

12:19

of LA. We're doing nothing versus

12:21

these companies that didn't officially attend

12:23

e three, but they would have a big thing like,

12:25

next door across the 708. And they would

12:27

still have a press conference and still have a Nintendo

12:30

direct, like -- Sure. -- there's there's a very big

12:32

difference between the two. Like, oh, I don't care if they're on

12:34

the show floor or not. Have an e three

12:36

affiliated event or

12:37

not. But if they just pass on, like, having

12:39

game news at that time of year, then, yeah, obviously,

12:41

that feels very bad. Yes.

12:43

Certainly, I don't think they're going to skip making any

12:45

sort of announcements around E3 three. But what's

12:48

the point of actual e three though?

12:50

Of going to the show floor and having booths

12:53

when all the big players

12:55

aren't even gonna show

12:56

up. They're

12:57

just gonna in the

12:58

lines between. It's

12:59

gonna be a fax only fax,

13:01

which is, you know, a really fun show, but doesn't have

13:03

a lot of big publisher

13:06

attendant I think you're just gonna see a lot of

13:08

third party stuff. Right? Like Sega,

13:10

like Bandai NAMKO stuff, I would assume.

13:13

E3. No one has been confirmed.

13:16

As of yet. But, yeah, the E3

13:18

the big three are not showing up. They already

13:20

have they already have, like, an uphill battle because,

13:22

like, the people that miss what

13:24

E3 used to be? Or like us older us

13:27

older, you know, gamers and players

13:29

have been in the industry E3 I'm playing games for a long

13:31

time. And you remember following E3 in

13:33

its prime in the nineties like, early two thousands.

13:35

But, like, I think some of the younger E3, it hasn't

13:38

been that level of glory

13:40

in a long time. So they're, like, I don't care. I'm gonna get a I'm

13:42

gonna get a state of play

13:43

PlayStation. Whenever it happens, I'll be fine with that. I

13:45

can just watch an Nintendo Direct. Don't need

13:47

e three. So E3 already have an uphill battle.

13:49

E3. They're just gonna watch it. What's that?

13:53

Just the younger gamer is gonna have somebody watch

13:55

a TikTok dance recapping the Daisy

13:57

three

13:57

games. And that's all they that's all they need -- E3. -- or

13:59

they have a twist instrument. They'll watch them they'll

14:01

watch them watch the state of play,

14:03

and then watch them just get their reactions to

14:05

it. They

14:06

wanna see how There was, like, always the

14:09

Like, just to, like, a little historical

14:12

context E3 e three, like, a big part

14:14

of that show was it was a trade show,

14:16

and the trade show was was So

14:18

purchasers of video games ahead

14:21

of the holidays, including, well, there are

14:23

games spot in United States. You have your own retailers

14:26

help with the United States would come and play

14:28

games and be like, we should order this many units

14:30

of this for this fall. Like, that was an actual purpose

14:33

of of that. And with digital distribution, that's

14:35

that's gone away so much. So, you know, the

14:37

trade show aspect of it is going away a

14:39

whole lot. So yeah. So what what's the

14:41

purpose of it? Well, the purpose of it could be

14:43

a fan convention, which would E3, like, a fan convention,

14:46

like, ax. So they'd have to make that, like, really

14:48

appealing, but it's super expensive to build,

14:50

like, 708 booth -- Mhmm. -- and staff

14:52

it. Right? And so it's like E3 don't really

14:54

wanna, like, do that. If they they're not guaranteed to

14:57

have this, like, you know, huge amount of audience

14:59

and press coverage. Which leads me to my

15:01

final point, which is that e

15:03

three was a good thing

15:05

for consumers that did not attend

15:08

because we got to play games.

15:10

And that meant the game had to be in a playable

15:12

state, and then we would be able to evaluate

15:15

it. And that is a consumer service

15:17

that, like, you know, if that if that gets

15:19

cut out, you just have one less data

15:21

point in And is this game gonna

15:23

be any good? Should I preorder this? Which,

15:25

like, you know, some people say, don't preorder

15:28

games, wait for their E3. But, like, that's

15:30

why these events should exist for consumers

15:32

is so, like, either they can play it

15:34

or we can tell you, like, hey, this

15:36

game is not what the developer is saying it

15:38

is, which is gonna happen or say,

15:41

this is the most exciting thing that we saw

15:43

because it just feels really good to play. You you

15:45

just can't get that from trailers and watching gameplay.

15:48

They they show you, you know, we call the Bolt

15:50

Shot E3. And I think we made

15:52

up a name for the trailer version of

15:53

that, you know, camera photo was.

15:56

We I mean, I think Cyberpunk two

15:58

thousand E3 seventy seven won our e three game

16:00

of the show, and I'm not poking fun at us

16:02

like the section of the game that was

16:04

playable. It wasn't a E3. A human was playing

16:07

it, but we saw a hands off demo of

16:09

it. That vertical slice was so

16:11

polished and so incredible. Oh my god. And

16:13

And then that I mean, it was great. Like and then

16:15

the game came out and it was broken as heck. Right? And

16:17

it took him a year and half to fix it up. And

16:19

so, I guess, the point that I'm building too

16:21

is, like, I'm trying to remember all

16:23

my e three memories are blended up

16:26

like slowly and steadily over the

16:28

years. I feel like I personally got

16:30

my hands on a controller less

16:32

and less and less often. E3

16:35

three like you would see videos of games

16:37

or hands off demos of games

16:39

and there definitely were

16:41

all the way up till the E3 three. You know,

16:43

you could walk up and play games, but, like,

16:46

that was not like, it was just way

16:49

less of an emphasis already, which

16:51

just decreases, like, circling back to the

16:53

core point of, like, are they on the show floor or

16:55

not? Like, you know, it it was viral

16:57

but already even shifting over the last decade

17:00

or

17:00

so. Remember the breath of the wild booth

17:02

where it was like one year or so,

17:04

just shut down E3. And they

17:06

were like, we're just gonna have playstations

17:09

for the for for breath of the wild game

17:11

playstations. I mean, not playstations. Yeah. Playstations.

17:15

Yeah.

17:15

There was no And they did. And then you just

17:17

go in. I would just loop that line through

17:19

the day, and I was like, I I wanna play this

17:21

what think it was a time demo. As many

17:24

times as I could because it was so open ended and

17:26

that, like, absolutely soul be in the audience

17:28

meeting. That was such a that was like a company

17:30

that understood the assignment of, like, how to

17:32

build a booth and, like, what you're doing there

17:35

and what function it should fulfill. And it was, like,

17:37

it felt like, you know, it like, a little preview

17:39

of, like, what Super Nintendo Land is, like, E3,

17:41

like, there is a little area with, like, baccabalin's

17:43

cooking things on a fire in the booth.

17:46

Like, that serves no purpose other than

17:48

to, like, look cool and be cool. Like,

17:50

you should don't believe Gamescoop, Finnish

17:53

Gamescoop,

17:54

go Google like Nintendo breadth of the Wild

17:56

E3 booth tour. And it's like it

17:58

is the best. Yep. Yeah.

18:00

I don't know. I mean, obviously, PlayStation hasn't

18:03

gone to e three in a long time. But

18:05

Nintendo E3 though they started doing their

18:07

Nintendo Direct instead of a live presentation

18:09

conference, they still had their booth. And then Xbox,

18:12

I think it's the real surprising to me E3 they've

18:14

actually been very vocally, publicly

18:16

supportive of the ESA, the

18:18

organization behind e E3. Exxon's

18:21

on the board of ES8, if I'm

18:23

not mistaken. They they

18:25

participated fully in the last digital

18:28

e three that occurred in what twenty twenty one. So

18:30

they're the one that's a big surprise for me. And also,

18:33

I I would just think E3 could be

18:35

important to a lot of publishers because the back

18:37

half of twenty twenty three is a complete mystery.

18:40

Mhmm. After, you know, after the deluge

18:42

of games come through June, we

18:44

don't know anything about what's I mean, we know that Sony's

18:46

gonna have Marvel Spider Man two, at

18:48

at some point in the fall. But, like, we don't know

18:51

any E3 dates for any big games that are supposed

18:53

to come in the

18:53

fall. And E3 would be the place to do that. Mhmm.

18:57

Well, if they don't feel

18:59

the pressure to have if

19:01

press E3 if not press conference, but just,

19:04

like, press materials and and kind of

19:06

show their hand in June, then they're not gonna

19:08

do it now. And and and Nintendo didn't

19:11

last year. They're just like, we don't need a June

19:13

Nintendo Direct, and they just didn't do one. And

19:15

we thought they would through the whole month, we're like, oh, it

19:17

must be next week. It must be next week.

19:19

Checking your watch, you're like, nope. They just never

19:21

did it. And so now you know it's possible

19:24

for Nintendo to completely just see that June.

19:27

So that wasn't thing before. That

19:29

that's new. They would always have a direct. They

19:31

even had when they weren't in they

19:34

were the first people to not have a, you know, press

19:36

conference in the hall. Yeah. Right? But they

19:38

just would have a direct event. was part of E3 three,

19:41

it was e three branded, as we

19:43

say, and, you know, you you would watch it. It would

19:45

say Nintendo E3 but, you

19:48

know, but There's still a door open

19:50

for those deals to happen, like, that there's

19:52

no way that, like, you know, like, things

19:54

are locked into stone right now, but think it

19:56

completely is gonna depend on all lineups

19:59

or, like, is there a reason to talk about next

20:01

year? The year after and the year after

20:03

as there was in the past. A lot

20:05

of people a lot of people think like now, like, E3 vegan

20:08

companies get kinda honest for that. Right?

20:10

Because they've missed their deadlines, and they

20:12

delay their games, and it's like, how much intel are

20:14

we gonna get out of the future going

20:16

forward? It's really hard to tell. E3

20:19

of the agenda, side note, has everyone been

20:21

following along these the rumors about advance

20:23

wars?

20:24

That it's that it's supposed to shadow drop. Right?

20:26

Shadow drop next E3. Yep.

20:29

Next week, a shadow job. Alright. Well,

20:31

they just put out fire

20:33

emblem. No. It makes a sense. There's, like, E3

20:35

a month in between isn't there rumors that they're

20:37

supposed to be a Nintendo Direct also in

20:39

the first week of February, which I'm like,

20:41

I feel like every time I look at the Internet, it's

20:43

like, there's gonna be E3 Nintendo Direct this week,

20:45

guys. Hundred percent. But on every month

20:48

don't know about that.

20:49

And just in case, the rumors are just E3,

20:52

people that work at Walmart's report

20:54

that they've started getting in signage. This

20:56

is Advanced World one two available now.

20:59

And then they're having -- Okay. -- instructions to put

21:01

them up on this date in early February. So

21:03

that's the reason why. What's the what's the moniker

21:06

on that? Is it a reboot camp? Re

21:08

yeah. Advanced Wars reboot Camp one and two. Right?

21:10

Or Advanced Wars one and two reboot Camp.

21:13

Anyway, can't wait.

21:15

I'm like, I've just accepted silence. I've

21:17

just accepted that, like, I made my peace

21:20

with the fact that one and two reboot camp was

21:22

just gone. Like, it was just never gonna

21:24

be released. And, like, the fact I'm willing to,

21:26

like, let a little bit of hope back into my

21:28

heart that, like, oh, maybe that will be a product

21:30

that we get to play this year. And, like,

21:32

if you never played advance wise wanted to, they're

21:34

my favorite strategy games ever of all

21:36

time. So Very good. Yeah. Check out

21:37

the incredible teamwork on those original

21:40

games. Yeah.

21:40

E3, not in the reboot. But Yeah.

21:43

Yeah. Take what we can

21:44

get. I've come around. III like the reboot

21:46

style, but, yeah, I've come around on it. I like

21:48

the Sprite combat of recent

21:51

firewalls and they switched over for this and,

21:53

like, I the trade off is interesting,

21:56

but, like, man, the cut scenes look so

21:58

good, and I don't even wanna watch E3. They

22:00

look so good. Yeah. I can't

22:03

believe the switch looks dachshund. It's like Metroid.

22:05

Like, you know, those those those thirty

22:08

frame or sixty frame portions of Metroid.

22:10

E3 like, whoa, the switch can do

22:12

some cool stuff. Like, they come much harder

22:14

harder they have to work on that system to do that

22:16

too. Just funny. There's wizards internally

22:18

in the tender of making that stuff. Yeah. In

22:21

any case, I don't know what e three is going to be

22:24

this year. I'll be interested to see what

22:26

what they're able pull

22:27

off. Come June without

22:28

hope we all get to be in LA together. That'd

22:30

be fun to do a game scoop

22:31

for LA. Yeah. We've got to do

22:32

that. Right? I suspect that we're gonna be plenty

22:35

busy around June. Yeah.

22:38

E3 the thing. Is that with all the games

22:40

out? Like, I feel like we're gonna have to

22:43

be covering a bunch of games

22:44

that, you know, and our respective offices.

22:46

Over a longer period of time too,

22:48

because now we're in the era of everyone who has

22:50

their own direct or their own live

22:52

stream presentation. It just extends

22:55

out the summer game event season

22:57

to basically be the entirety

22:59

of

22:59

summer. So I'm like, oh my gosh. I've been working so

23:01

much.

23:02

Kind of a summer.

23:03

I mean, we're up to that I

23:05

like that. E3 should should

23:06

throw some branding on that. I like it.

23:09

I was looking at like this in the first, like, E3

23:12

e three thing. Isn't it like the Wednesday before

23:14

now? Which means

23:15

that, like, if you're a journalist coming into town, I'm

23:17

like, no,

23:17

good. It's like a dead like a ten day commitment

23:20

till I can be in downtown LA. This

24:41

Okay now.

24:47

Alright. I will I will listen

24:49

this week. The first first big game delay of

24:51

twenty twenty three was Star Wars E3 survivor.

24:54

Pushback six E3, not the end of world, but

24:56

a bummer for people like myself greatly

24:58

looking forward to that game. Now it's coming out April

25:01

E3 eighth. Just the same day as Dead

25:03

Island two, and that will be very easy

25:05

decision for me.

25:07

Yes.

25:08

It's not the same day or same week as

25:10

resident evil anymore, which is really helpful. Yeah.

25:12

That is true. So right now,

25:13

we can just focus at least I can. My entire

25:15

march can focus on Resideo

25:17

E3 four,

25:17

which I continue to get more and more excited

25:19

about. I cannot wait. Yeah.

25:23

Genesis, remember also April twenty eighth, it's

25:25

just a few days before Red Fall. So I don't know

25:27

if Red Fall should be E3

25:29

about that at

25:30

all. Yeah. And I don't know

25:32

if Redfin Fall should be on my single player radar.

25:34

Despite watching basically everything they've

25:36

done with it, I still don't understand, but that's

25:38

okay. Because Death Loop, I did

25:40

not understand what the heck that game

25:42

was until I played

25:43

it, and then I loved it. So, let me give it some time.

25:45

Our our king can do no in my eyes.

25:48

I've loved every single one of their games. Their

25:50

their immersive sim, just

25:52

sandbox style games. Just really

25:54

speak to me on a fundamental level that

25:56

I'm like, they only make the games that I like

25:58

in in a very specific way. So

26:00

I'm like, yeah, please. Give me those

26:02

vampires. I will kill them. I

26:05

I agree with you. My only concern

26:07

is that this one's built around co op, so just -- Right.

26:09

-- if if it's still if it's as fun to play

26:11

all by myself, then I'll be onboard. Are

26:13

aims to be seen, I guess. But also, the other

26:15

news on EA is that they apparently E3

26:18

the single player top call game, the

26:20

second

26:20

call E3, the code name was to E3

26:23

legends, I believe.

26:24

Yeah. It's set in that apex. It's a golden

26:26

golden falls universe because it's a shared universe

26:28

sport. Yeah.

26:29

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But it's how can you what does

26:31

it mean to cancel a game that was never an

26:33

s?

26:34

It's just to just to build you. We saw

26:36

this happen, and then it just dashes it.

26:38

Because I feel like they've done that before where they were

26:40

like, yeah, we were working on a Titanfall three,

26:42

but nah, we killed

26:44

it. And it's just like, well, you didn't need to know

26:46

that, but we wanted to let you know. You know?

26:49

It's tough to, like I mean, I said that half

26:51

is a joke, but there is some, like, kind of

26:54

you know, when does something get out of, like,

26:56

the prototype phase. Like, we have few people

26:58

sort of tossing something around. Like, now

27:00

this is real. It's like, no, we're we're gonna kill

27:03

it after all. Like, but it was never announced.

27:05

It's like, yeah, I don't know. It's like, it's

27:07

a little bit I I think it's one that stings

27:09

just because people really really have an affinity

27:12

for a Titanfall too and

27:14

like that universe and that lore and that

27:16

team is just, you know, so talented

27:18

and kinda hasn't had a miss yet that, like,

27:21

it E3 to be I've been kinda trying

27:23

to, like, figure out why this one has hit people

27:25

harder. This news. And and they specifically

27:28

called it out as a single player experience,

27:30

which I think hurts a little bit more.

27:32

Yeah. It's Yes. That's a

27:34

funny company because they have this reputation, of course,

27:36

for just putting out the same sports

27:39

games year after year. They've bundled their

27:41

huge properties like Battlefield, And

27:44

then they've been, like, E3, like,

27:48

anti single player gaming, like, as a

27:50

as a company in the past.

27:51

Yet they out some of the most refined single

27:53

player games all the time. Like -- Like --

27:55

-- with Jedi so -- like Jedi fall in order,

27:58

you have dead space, you have Titanfall

28:00

two, like, all fun to like, beloved

28:02

single player campaigns that and maybe it's

28:04

our bubble that we all like are in a video

28:06

game bubble that we all like similar games.

28:09

But, like, E3 just can't shut

28:11

up about Titanfall two. And for good reason,

28:13

like, it's a fantastic single player experience.

28:15

So to deny us that, it just feels

28:18

wrong. It hurts. Yeah.

28:20

Yeah. There

28:21

is the the E3, I would push back a

28:23

little. It was just the one tweet that

28:25

then, like, you know, somebody popped off

28:27

on social media and then the company I do

28:29

immediately, you know, had in hand to, like,

28:31

walk it back. After playing the old comments that was

28:33

John Mercitello where they're, like, they canceled

28:36

the Star Wars game. But it was it was shaping up to

28:38

be a long narrative driven single player

28:40

game. So we canceled it.

28:41

It's awesome. And also like a big reason why Battlefront

28:43

too put so much emphasis on a single player

28:45

experience in the thing because the original

28:47

battlefield just didn't have that. Yeah.

28:50

Sure.

28:51

That would be fair. He also does E3 battlefront

28:53

is what I meant to say. Mhmm. He

28:55

doesn't even work at yay anymore, Damon. They're

28:57

a different company.

28:58

I know. Just that's that's just part of their

29:00

track record and reputation. Yeah.

29:03

Of course, I understand. I don't know why I'm, like, I don't

29:05

need carry water. They can defend

29:07

themselves. A year ago, we learned that EA

29:09

is working on three new Star Wars games at Respawn.

29:12

All all having at Respawn, there is the sequel

29:14

to fallen order. And then there's a

29:16

first mister shooter, and then there's a strategy game. So

29:18

maybe they're just maybe those are going well

29:20

and they just didn't they haven't have time

29:23

to work on a single player Titanfall

29:25

game as

29:25

well. E3 about the first person shooter.

29:27

First, I've I've heard of that, which sounds awesome

29:30

because III E3, I love Republic Commandos.

29:32

So if they do something in that vein, that'd be pretty

29:34

sick but and also I'm not a big RTS

29:36

guy and I know people love Empire at

29:38

War as like this -- Yeah. -- marquee RTS

29:41

title. So if those people get another one

29:43

of those, I'd be very happy for

29:44

him. I would

29:45

too. Yeah. An RTS

29:47

with, like, space battles would be really cool. If

29:49

it's planet's side, I'm not I personally won't

29:51

care.

29:54

That's

29:54

an interesting because

29:55

it's gonna be naboo. don't care about that.

29:57

I just don't wanna be Oh, it's gonna be hot

29:59

and naboo. Great.

30:02

Great. Yeah. There's only three planets

30:04

in Star Wars.

30:06

Yeah. Well, if judging by the movies,

30:08

a ninety percent of it will be on tattooing. You

30:10

know what? Why don't they you know what's underrepresented? We

30:12

don't ever get Deguva. We get

30:14

hoff a million and one

30:16

times. But like Four is good. No.

30:19

That's gonna be a survival game. E3 kill

30:21

the fort in the Swan San Diego, but Yes.

30:23

So avoid some E3

30:25

snakes, and and eat some changes.

30:27

It was a source. Yeah. And

30:29

some some evil cave. Yeah.

30:33

Okay. Good

30:34

point. Yeah. But, like, I don't know. It could

30:36

be like it could be like sport. You've

30:40

entered the E3 cave. You will take gradual

30:42

health damage to the longer you are in the cave.

30:44

I don't know where I'm

30:45

going.

30:45

Thank you. In in Lego

30:47

Star Wars, this is E3 the the show

30:50

that I watch with my kid. There's a great joke

30:52

when they in Empire, when they land on the asteroid

30:54

inside the giant space log, and they

30:57

come out wearing like oxygen

30:59

mask. You're like, let's see if this is the one place

31:01

in the galaxy that doesn't have a breath of atmosphere.

31:03

Nope. It's fun. Okay.

31:11

It's been seven days since we record

31:13

last episode of the game suit. That means that twenty

31:16

six thousand games have since been

31:18

released onto Nintendo E

31:19

E3. Which means

31:21

that it's time once again to check-in with the Nintendo

31:23

E3 of quantity. You know, it's been

31:25

such a bountiful year. I believe

31:27

it's like we're doing this segment

31:29

a lot. I check every week, and I wouldn't

31:31

do it if there weren't more amazing

31:33

games. Okay. And I just have to call it entity.

31:36

I would I it's my duty. I'll be doing E3

31:38

just giving games such good publicity now

31:40

through game scoop that they're just releasing them

31:42

at a higher

31:43

clip. I'm shuffling faster as as

31:45

you'd

31:45

say. Oh, scoping. It's E3.

31:48

There's making suit bait games now. We'll talk

31:50

about this

31:50

on game E3. Totally. Here is listeners.

31:52

The Nintendo E3 quantity is your assurance. That

31:54

absolutely no one is watching the

31:56

Nintendo eShop anything can be

31:58

released there. Anything games like

32:01

let's begin Where to begin this week? Games like,

32:03

anime girls camping

32:05

trip. Now little horses. I'm late. This

32:07

game is rated e for everyone. There's nothing

32:09

scandalous.

32:09

Okay. Okay. Boom. Anime girls

32:12

camping trip is four dollars. And

32:14

the description is, the day of camping with

32:16

friends has arrived, proved to be the memory

32:18

of the group. It's up to you to prove that you know

32:20

all the rules of camping. E3,

32:23

Ryan brought all the rules. Hopefully, Ryan

32:25

got screens of the games that we can pull up here.

32:28

Oh, yeah. Anime girls, camping trip. Camping

32:30

with girlfriends is one of the most exciting

32:32

experiences of adolescence. Prove

32:34

that you know all the rules of camping perfectly.

32:36

Don't make a mistake. If you

32:38

fail, they will know and you won't prove your

32:40

memory.

32:41

Unveil, it's

32:42

not her question, but the girls will ask

32:44

you in question one hundred fifty.

32:47

Kind

32:47

of spoiler there. I E3, on the county,

32:49

yeah, E3 in the first role of Camping.

32:51

We all know it. Right?

32:55

And the girls camping trip. What's

32:57

the gameplay? What do you do in the game? You

32:59

you you talk to the girls.

33:00

They The part of the

33:01

segment is that

33:01

you'll you'll never know. You'll

33:04

never know. They

33:04

quiz you about what

33:07

what your camping knowledge is.

33:08

Wow. Yep. A camping the rules, the

33:10

camping rules. Yep.

33:11

Of course.

33:12

Prove your memory. Okay.

33:15

The next one is I believe it's take only

33:17

pictures and leave only what is

33:19

it? Memories?

33:21

Where are you doing? I can't

33:22

remember the

33:23

camping. There is camping rule. I thought it was packed it

33:25

in, packed out. Back

33:26

in, packed. That's a good camping rule. See, we come up with

33:29

some camping

33:29

rules. You. I mean, I didn't come up with that.

33:32

That's a It's

33:32

not a whole thing. Are you familiar with the memory?

33:36

E3 can't extract them from our own memory. Yeah.

33:38

Tesla packages. Just like that time it can't.

33:40

Remember y'all? What?

33:44

Well, who's camp? Camping with girlfriends

33:46

one of the most exciting experiences of my

33:48

adolescence. Okay.

33:49

Well,

33:50

do you think we could do goose

33:52

camping with girlfriends? Could that be that the

33:54

title that we aim for. What do you wish to do a tie

33:56

in with E3 girls? Goose camping trip.

33:59

There you go. Boo.

34:00

Okay. I want had a E3 had a raccoon

34:03

E3, an entire bag of marshmallows from

34:05

our campsite. So I don't know what that counts

34:07

for.

34:08

What time I saw a raccoon standing up

34:10

when it's high end legs, and it just stood there like

34:12

a little man.

34:15

This is my sight. It just stood

34:17

there. It it was kinda like sipping there and

34:19

looking right at me. That it just it just

34:21

didn't stop standing. Cool.

34:24

I offered it shorts, tiny shorts. But

34:27

some say the raccoon is still standing there to this

34:29

day. Okay.

34:31

Our next intro this week is air

34:34

jet fighter combat, Europe fly plane

34:37

attack. Get

34:39

you back five dollars.

34:40

Air jet fighter. How's

34:41

everything you need to know?

34:42

Air jet fighter combat firm fly

34:45

plane attack.

34:46

Hey, there's some screenshots down there. Yo. There

34:48

we

34:48

go. I see. Okay. This game doesn't look that

34:50

bad. It's a realistic three d E3.

34:53

It's like the remember the recent

34:55

afterburner?

34:57

No. There's no way

34:59

the game looks

35:00

like that. It was like eight or ten years

35:02

ago. The description

35:04

is a bunch of opponents are not afraid

35:06

of you if you are on a new high speed fighter.

35:09

Many missions with Athene Shooter be

35:11

shot down. Realistic

35:14

graphics, excellent planes, maneuvering

35:16

like real ones, turn the game into a real

35:18

battle for survival. With knocking down

35:20

your

35:21

enemies, you will experience all the thrill of the game.

35:23

Welcome to air fighter air attack.

35:27

So I E3, the name wait. Wait. That's the secret

35:29

name. The

35:32

title in the E3 is

35:34

Airjet fighter combat, Europe flyplane attack,

35:36

but then they

35:37

say, welcome to air fighter air attack.

35:40

Just

35:40

a local

35:40

office. Okay. So you can see the evolution

35:42

of the keyword stuff there. They're like, now

35:44

we gotta add more keywords.

35:46

Aircraft. E3 track

35:47

doesn't have E3

35:47

enough keywords in it. Watch out Ace Combat.

35:50

Okay. You

35:51

guys like keywords in your titles. How about

35:54

animal super craft, maker word

35:56

stimulator, lexicon, E3 twenty

35:59

three. Twenty twenty three.

36:02

Twenty twenty three edition. This one is only two dollars.

36:04

It already looks like a game that E3 be in a movie.

36:06

Okay. Wait. Wait. Ryan, go back to that. Okay. Let's

36:08

let's set the E3 here. I want it for our listeners

36:10

I need to describe what this game looks

36:13

like. You are like a lumberjack with an axe. It's

36:15

a you're in A3D space. There are

36:17

some Anthem Primoris animals approaching

36:19

you with like accent or sledgehammers and

36:21

E3. You're at the base of a

36:24

castle. On top of the castle are like

36:26

some piranha plant E3 flytrap

36:28

things, and also some giant bugs

36:30

are flying at you. There's

36:32

a lot. There's a lot to unpack here. This is a little

36:35

bit like an e rated version of the forest.

36:37

It looks like that it it looks like

36:39

that deer was going to beat you to death with

36:41

that

36:41

slash. That's what it looks like he's coming to

36:43

do.

36:44

So it's a So if on if on

36:47

twenty questions we asked you, is this a

36:49

simulator

36:50

or or or a or a word game

36:53

You would just

36:53

have to

36:54

say Yes. Yep.

36:55

Yes. Yes. So it says animal

36:57

super And then it still

36:58

wouldn't help us. Animal supercraft is a two and

37:00

half d platform game where you take the role

37:02

of a woodcutter in for us, where you

37:04

fights various animals in three different

37:06

locations. Would you like to experience

37:08

your endurance capabilities in various extreme

37:11

situations? If yes, An animal

37:13

super craft maker word simulator is the

37:15

ideal game because that's a resource

37:17

management strategy game about survival and

37:19

consequences. We play as a lumberjack,

37:21

who went to the forest, Along the way, he meets animals

37:23

with different types of weapons. Each animal has

37:25

its own behavior and characteristics. Actions

37:28

take place in three locations. Forest,

37:30

There is a forest itself, a mountainous E3,

37:32

and a cave, inside a tree, and

37:34

the final level is an animal castle.

37:36

At the end of each location, boilers, at the

37:38

end of his location there as a boss. At the

37:40

end of the

37:41

game, he returns to his home.

37:46

That's good. I'm glad that That E3 clarified.

37:48

That's alright. So

37:49

that happens E3 the end of Dead Space, actually.

37:51

Yeah.

37:52

Well, actually, no, it doesn't. Unless they change

37:54

it for

37:54

the rebate. You gotta beat the game on new game plus

37:57

get that ending. What

38:00

so okay. So so

38:02

with all of those game genre

38:04

descriptions, including word --

38:06

Yeah. -- in

38:07

the title. It's an actually just

38:09

a platformer. Yeah.

38:10

Yeah. I don't know why. So it's not a maker.

38:12

It's not a craft game. It's not a simulator.

38:15

It ain't deluxe. It's just

38:17

animal game twenty twenty three. Yeah. And we

38:19

disagree on that. Yeah. I think so. I don't know what

38:21

E3 is doing in the title here.

38:23

Maybe they just put a word another word in it. We need

38:25

another keyword. Just put word in. Yeah.

38:27

We forgot to fill that one in. Okay. This

38:30

next one is in E3. Next game.

38:32

Chain car stunt

38:34

simulator, three d extreme highway

38:36

car driving business.

38:38

Chain car. Yeah. So

38:40

two class of racing, It's like what

38:43

what's the code when when

38:44

you're, like, the drag racing?

38:47

Drag racing. It's connected by a giant chain

38:49

of Alright. I'm in. I mean, chain

38:50

cars -- Yeah. -- simulated. So I haven't

38:53

personally heard of chain car E3. I haven't

38:55

either. But maybe it's a thing. Did they invent it

38:57

just for this

38:57

Well, I mean, if you haven't heard of it, you cool. You just

38:59

aren't in that E3. I'm

39:02

seeing

39:02

clearly E3 don't hang out in the LA

39:04

river. I'm not a a chainer.

39:06

Yeah. You get home. Always keep your

39:08

switchblade at hand for a chain car. The

39:11

the change in the E3.

39:13

The description is chain or this is the

39:15

latest gaming attraction with all new car

39:17

racing E3 adventure in town. So

39:19

be prepared to break Look at that. Just just cars

39:21

are chained together. Be prepared

39:24

to break the chain as it is a real challenge in

39:26

touch of your core driving

39:27

skills. Oh, look at this one. There's like

39:29

a E3 truck and a tank. They're

39:31

changing it.

39:32

Well, I will say, Dave, don't lie.

39:34

I E3, yeah.

39:35

Yeah. I kinda kinda want this one.

39:37

That's what it says.

39:37

I think the concept is intriguing

39:40

to me. Two cars go fast. One

39:42

goes fast. Faster and it destroys other

39:44

cars. I'm in. Justin

39:46

put this on the to save when the Nintendo

39:49

online shop. Yep, please. Because

39:52

I'm taking notes. The description

39:54

says, do you like chains card game? Can

39:56

E3 have to provide you with the tricky tricks? If

39:58

yes, I didn't think I did. Welcome

40:01

to the new chain car stunt simulator three

40:03

d. The main idea of the game is to drive

40:05

and race the car against the chain car with a

40:07

breakable chain. A real challenge here is that

40:09

you have to follow the chain car without breaking the change

40:11

in the finish line. Several modes of

40:13

patience and cars are available in the game that diversified

40:16

the atmosphere during its use. So get

40:18

into the driving seat of thrilling trained cars.

40:20

To enjoy endless chain brake adventure on real

40:23

highway and possible

40:24

tracks, accept the impossible challenge of

40:26

driving luxury sports cars and trucks in

40:28

this impossible chain cars game and win races

40:30

against racing rivals and be the ultimate

40:32

breaker of the chains master of chain cars dungsten.

40:37

What a box Well, you know what's nice? If you're

40:39

just racing one other car and you're chained to

40:41

it, E3, it can only be a close second

40:43

no matter what in horsegate scenario.

40:47

You can just take your hands off the E3, close

40:49

second no matter what. So

40:52

a lot of these games come from the same Publisher

40:55

-- Yeah. -- I don't believe you. Yeah. And and they're

40:57

all kind of like vehicle driving games.

40:59

Usually, E3 on some sort, but they have another

41:02

one out there. This E3, that looks like a departure

41:04

for them. This one is called

41:06

tales of E3 Fantasy Magic

41:08

E3 world fight RPG simulator.

41:11

I said all the right words for Nick. Nick's

41:13

gone. You

41:16

can't tell me. You can't tell me more. Well,

41:18

I have I have another complaint about

41:21

the the chain game, though. So the

41:23

in the chain game, so

41:25

everybody always criticises racing

41:27

games for having rubber banding effects.

41:30

So they said, let's let's take

41:32

that and make it a feature worse Yeah.

41:34

Which is kind of like, you know, taking a

41:37

game and being like, let's just do a game called

41:39

fetch quest to just, you know,

41:41

you're just gonna run errands for somebody. Yeah.

41:43

Which might be what tells the Shinobi E3 Magic

41:45

anime world fight RPG simulator

41:47

is. Yeah. I don't know what's being simulated here.

41:50

The description was not very I'm using nothing

41:53

really notable to say about the description

41:54

now.

41:55

All games are E3.

41:56

Like, I guess, Shinobi is not a license.

41:59

No. Can't can't trademark

42:01

the word, Shneavy, I don't think. I mean, they did,

42:04

though, right, on PS

42:05

two. What do you mean they trademarked

42:07

it?

42:07

I'm just Wasn't

42:08

Shneavy

42:08

a, like, a you came to do with the red scarf,

42:11

the

42:11

big girl.

42:11

But it's like

42:12

It's just somebody's name. It's like you are in

42:14

India.

42:16

What if you

42:16

could, though? Yeah.

42:18

Are you saying I could put out a game called ninja

42:20

Biden?

42:21

I mean, it's just ninja side story. So

42:24

You could try. Right? You could try.

42:31

Time for a quick break to talk about some delicious

42:34

breakfast options at McDonald's. Like a steak

42:36

egg and cheese bagel, or you can get steak

42:38

on a McMuffin or biscuit or any other

42:40

of your favorite breakfast sandwiches. And for

42:42

even more deliciousness, pair it with a caramel

42:45

macchiato or one of our other Mcafe beverages

42:47

to make sure your day gets off to a great

42:49

start. At participating McDonald's, single

42:51

item at regular price.

42:54

Okay. Let's check-in with the listeners.

42:58

Hey,

42:58

listeners. Listeners. Well, how do you remember you can always

43:00

reach us? At the email address, GameCube. don't know what's

43:02

GameCube. That's why I forgot that. GameCube.

43:04

And I

43:04

did, like, just like Tony Kilbru

43:07

did. Killebrew? Killebrew?

43:10

One of those. Oh, okay. You got me so excited

43:12

there for a sec.

43:13

What? Why? Oh, yeah. Tony.

43:16

Yeah.

43:18

You know if I'm gonna E3 saying

43:21

that, Tony. Yes. So what -- Yeah. --

43:23

scoop I just started listening a month ago,

43:25

and I've been listening to your shows from two thousand eleven

43:27

onwards on Spotify during --

43:29

Wow. -- commute to work every

43:30

day. I'm listening to new shows as well. I

43:32

really enjoyed the podcast and I wanted to send

43:34

in a question.

43:36

If you all were given two hundred dollars to purchase

43:38

one retro gaming console with a game,

43:40

what console would it be in what

43:41

game? Hell, man. Do we 708 the

43:43

way, if he's starting from twenty eleven and

43:46

then, like, wrote in his question, Is he

43:48

not gonna know we read it off

43:49

for, like, another year now E3 he's caught

43:51

up. I'm

43:51

current with new episodes too.

43:54

So he's bopping back and forth. So he's

43:56

doing the new one and then going back and yeah.

43:58

Got it. The answer

44:00

is always virtual boy. I need I I have

44:02

two. I could always use another one.

44:05

Of course, I want a I want a copy of Nestor's

44:07

funky bowling. I have one that it's

44:09

sealed in the box and I can't play

44:10

it. Yeah.

44:11

How much does the virtual boy go for? About

44:15

that. About two about two months.

44:18

Yeah. I I would all E3 FDI.

44:21

Right? A very few of them work. You

44:23

have to unless they're prepared now too, they have to

44:26

problem with the the monitors because there's

44:28

two little monitors in there and a bad ribbon cable.

44:30

Also, I'd like AII have passed up on a

44:32

TurboTax for about that with stack

44:34

of games, and I will always Oh, cool. Yeah. Like

44:36

E3 games, like, some rare ones too. What's the bladder

44:39

out there? I I don't

44:41

think so. I think it was weirder than that. That

44:43

that But, you know, that would be good pick for

44:45

you, Damon, splatterhouse, and the turbografter sixteen.

44:47

Okay. That'd

44:48

be fun. Except I already own that. So

44:50

That that's my answer. I would I've

44:53

I've actually never owned a Turboographic sixteen

44:55

growing up and I always wanted one and I have

44:57

recently revisited it now that

44:59

I'm an adult. With disposable

45:02

income. And I have decided

45:04

to play through rondo of blood --

45:06

Okay. -- and splatterhouse. Cool. And

45:08

man. Cool. E3 good games.

45:10

Real good time.

45:11

Yep. That's my choice. Turbo graphics,

45:14

rondahlblad, Turbo graphics sixteen

45:16

hundred. The ability of E3 b, though, the virtual

45:18

boy man. Can't get

45:19

that on your own.

45:20

We have a virtual boy somewhere

45:22

in the E3 LA office, and I'm pretty sure

45:24

I'm the only one that knows it exists. Well,

45:27

you sure. Alright.

45:30

You're you're gonna have to okay. Nick,

45:33

this is serious. Get that

45:35

thing, open it up

45:37

and and there's a if there's a controller with it,

45:39

take out the batteries. That's

45:42

so hard to clean out

45:44

all the corrosion into those

45:45

things, and maybe there's a chance that they were put

45:47

in the last, like, three years or something.

45:49

Right after You guys E3 out there don't

45:51

store your batteries in your old controllers

45:54

or your systems. Now they they will turn

45:56

green and leak and and

45:58

ruin more things than just battery case.

46:01

708 out of there. They could they could do a lot of

46:03

damage. E3. Mhmm.

46:06

Also, the stand is hard to find for virtual

46:08

right now. Mhmm. Usually, you just find the right

46:10

thing. The red thing.

46:12

I would get a sega saturn because I'd never

46:15

owned a sega

46:15

saturn. And I think

46:17

Yeah. -- that's about a hundred and twenty bucks, I

46:19

think, on eBay. And then I would get Shunning

46:21

Force three. Now, man. Because I love

46:23

love Shunning Force. I love Tango's games. And

46:25

I think I would have enough money to also get a game called

46:27

Princess

46:28

Crown. Which I've never played, but it's from

46:30

the guy behind Vanillaware. Mhmm.

46:31

Okay. And so, like, Dragon's Crown

46:33

and Odin's E3. And it's a sega

46:36

CD game that looks like that. E3

46:38

called princess. Cool. Sign me up. That sounds great.

46:40

It's very cool. Cool.

46:41

I would love to E3 Shmups like Battle Garaga and Battsugun,

46:44

but they go for, like, more than two hundred dollars just

46:46

on their own. Mhmm.

46:47

I just E3,

46:48

battle Greg is so good, man.

46:50

I know. I know. I gotta check that.

46:52

Saturn was my answer too. And for the same

46:54

reason, I I own every almost

46:57

every video. The only video game consoles

46:59

I haven't owned from the sixteen bit

47:01

era up, are there Saturn? I I never got

47:03

a PSV 708. So E3

47:06

one of those and probably decided to give it

47:08

my proclivities E3 have to get nights,

47:11

you know, and have to get the pants or dragging in

47:13

this, you know. Some classics on-site. And the

47:16

version of E3 the night actually

47:18

has exclusive areas and content,

47:20

not in the E3 version. And that's the

47:22

version that actually gets ported and played more often.

47:25

So I'm always really fascinated. Yeah.

47:28

Yeah. I brought it up on Scoop before how fascinated

47:30

I am with, like, you know, sometimes and I'm

47:32

not gonna call the PS version inferior, but

47:34

sometimes an inferior version of game

47:36

or a different version of the game is the one

47:38

that gets ported through the ages And then

47:40

there's, like, some alternate history version

47:43

of a popular really well known video game

47:45

kind of trapped on an older console and that's

47:47

always something I'm really fascinated

47:48

by. I'm double checking.

47:50

Isn't Cyga Saturn where

47:52

Tomb Raider was first released? Yeah. It

47:55

was released,

47:55

like, E3 weeks before the

47:57

PlayStation version.

47:59

That's crazy. Yeah. Yeah. That's

48:01

a that's a an entire, like,

48:04

series of platforms I'm slowly discovering

48:06

now that I'm an adult and and it was never

48:08

a Sega guy growing up. So now I'm

48:10

writing all the wrongs of my youth and playing

48:12

through bunch of old Sega games. Absolutely,

48:15

but

48:15

surely.

48:15

Sega Genesis. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Genesis

48:17

is a yeah. Genesis Turbo Graphics

48:19

and well, it's not you know what I mean?

48:21

Yeah. Saturn as well.

48:28

Okay. That brings us video game to any questions.

48:31

Suggesting this week comes from Andrew in

48:33

Belfast, Ireland. And real quick, Justin I

48:35

picked last week's phone of questions, game, specifically

48:38

for you, for getting that you work

48:40

It was sorry. It was infinity

48:43

blade.

48:44

Oh, I would've oh, I don't know if I

48:46

would've got it because we don't do mobile very often.

48:48

But,

48:49

they they got it.

48:50

Made by the Fortnite developers

48:52

of the --

48:53

What was that? -- the first

48:55

mobile game that gamers took series.

48:59

Okay.

48:59

And from Belfast E3, let

49:01

the questioning begin. Can

49:04

you E3. I don't mean to derail us. Can

49:06

you Like, if you open the app store, can you like download

49:08

and buy in Fannie

49:09

E3, or they just they go on and on. E3

49:11

were removed in twenty nineteen. What?

49:15

Are they on my iPad? You know? Yeah.

49:17

I know she's gonna

49:18

download it all right now. Epic

49:20

games would have enough money to figure out how

49:22

to keep those games available. But

49:24

nope. Apparently

49:26

not. Fortnite money can't bring back E3

49:29

E3 the for the listeners at home, you can't see

49:31

the desperation in Justin space.

49:35

Why is, like like, it's just weird. Like, it's

49:37

not like they were, like, they were big hits.

49:39

They're important E3 games.

49:41

Important mobile games. Man,

49:43

video games are kind of the worst sometimes. Like, nothing

49:46

else has this problem. I

49:48

E3 still download fucking look

49:49

Hamlet. Like, it's hundreds of years

49:52

old. Well,

49:56

that's hard to watch the garbage pill kids movie

49:58

unless it appears on YouTube recently. Yeah.

50:01

Unless it may have got recently reissued.

50:03

Yeah. And if you I I recently went to the

50:05

other watch go

50:06

for this movie.

50:08

Yeah. It's I went through that

50:10

with I E3, really wanted to watch hard boiled

50:12

over Christmas break and, like, it's not streaming

50:14

E3. And, like, fine. You can rent it. But it's like,

50:16

this is yeah. It is true that some movies can get

50:19

kinda hard to find.

50:21

Anyway, was it made? Before

50:24

two thousand? No. Is

50:30

it available can you play it on the Nintendo

50:32

switch? No. What's

50:35

this console exclusive? Yes.

50:42

For Nintendo games? Nintendo

50:44

systems? No.

50:48

Was it exclusive to a PlayStation system?

50:50

Yes. That's fine. Is

50:58

it an RPG? Is it inclusive

50:59

to it? Is it E3? Yeah. Go ahead.

51:02

Is an RPG? No.

51:04

Is it exclusive to an even numbered PlayStation

51:07

system? No.

51:10

What was the year? Was it two thousand or E3

51:12

ten? Two thousand. Two thousand. So it's not

51:14

so it's not a PlayStation two or PlayStation four.

51:17

Yeah. Yeah. That was pretty clever. Is

51:19

it exclusive to a or it could

51:21

E3, like, a very late E3 one game or something

51:23

weird. You wouldn't. It's not. Was this

51:25

exclusively a PS three game?

51:28

Yes.

51:29

Exclusive E3 three. Not

51:32

a lot of those. Yeah.

51:35

What a weird console? Is it Very weird

51:37

or heavy

51:37

console.

51:38

What's that? Is

51:39

it a shooter?

51:39

It's not a shooter. No. It's not

51:42

resistance. Not kill zone either. No.

51:45

So heavenly sword probably. Mhmm.

51:49

Was this published by Sony?

51:52

Yes. It was. And that's ten.

51:54

Maybe it is E3 sword.

51:57

Yeah. It could be heavenly sword that's like, I don't know.

51:59

There's like star hawk.

52:00

I don't

52:01

know if you call that a shooter. Hundred hundred

52:03

percent. Yeah. Oh,

52:04

yeah. Because that is flying and that's why I'm shooting. There's

52:06

layer. It's like a dog fighting game. Yeah.

52:09

Layer. And

52:12

that's it. It's only those.

52:16

I mean, we've named them all. Grand

52:18

Turismo.

52:19

It's probably a PS three twisted metal. Nobody

52:22

knows.

52:23

Okay. Damon, have we mentioned the series yet?

52:25

No. Oh, no. 708.

52:32

Was this game made in Japan? No.

52:36

Okay.

52:37

So maybe it's just the E3

52:39

dog. Yeah. I'm charters. Gotta

52:41

four.

52:43

Crash. Not crash. Sli.

52:48

Is this the first game in a series?

52:52

No.

52:55

Why did he say it like that?

52:58

It's not What

52:58

does that mean?

52:59

It's not the first game in a series. E3

53:02

it's like God of War Ascension, which I'm pretty

53:04

sure is like prequel.

53:06

Does this have sequels? No.

53:09

Damn. Okay. So

53:11

maybe it's PlayStation, All Stars Battle Royale.

53:14

But

53:14

that was on the three -- Yes. Three games.

53:18

How do you What's really?

53:19

Yeah. It was. I I own

53:21

708 name. Nobody knew

53:23

that. I

53:24

think you I don't know if that. I

53:26

don't know. Does that count that? That was a PS four

53:28

game anyway. It wasn't that was developed well, I don't

53:30

know who developed that game. E3, three,

53:33

I think. I really get the older

53:35

I get, the console gen, I can't,

53:37

like, increasingly can't remember

53:39

what was like PS3 versus PS4

53:41

and you developed. Sony published

53:44

PS three games. Not a lot

53:46

of those. What about, like, flower or

53:48

that or that game kind of

53:50

game? What's the

53:51

a journey journey. Is that US developed?

53:53

Right? Right? Yes. It's

53:54

not Japan developed. Yes. And

53:56

I think Sony published them. Were

53:58

those all downloadable games? Yeah. They were.

54:01

III think that they eventually

54:03

like, maybe they got physical releases. They did E3.

54:06

Box release. Yeah. When

54:09

these games were when these games

54:11

were first came out, were they primarily

54:14

thought of as

54:14

being, like, downloadable titles? This

54:17

game this

54:17

game. When this let's try

54:19

to this stadium. Well,

54:22

here here's what I'm trying to get around. Is

54:24

I think that Flower and those games eventually

54:26

were released on a physical

54:28

medium. No.

54:28

No. You did it. No. That was the right question.

54:31

Yeah. When these games E3 released

54:34

When this game was originally released. Yeah.

54:36

You're right. You're right. You're right. My bad. When this game

54:38

was first E3, was it a downloadable release?

54:41

Yeah. Was it

54:41

downloadable? Was it considered a downloadable

54:43

game? Yeah.

54:44

Cool.

54:44

And that's big. E3 got it.

54:48

Do you do you play as AII

54:50

almost said you play as a flower, but I think in

54:52

flower you play as the

54:53

wind. I don't really know. I think

54:55

you do play as wind in E3, I just

54:58

What

54:58

what what's is the company called that

55:00

game company? Yeah.

55:02

Is this a not game company game?

55:04

No. Oh,

55:05

no. Okay.

55:07

So but it's a downloadable so we E3 if it's

55:10

like we have a Chrome or something?

55:12

Yeah. We have -- Yeah. -- it could be E3

55:15

have house no. Housemark, they

55:17

had made their E3 words

55:19

version. It's called what's it called? Oh,

55:21

yeah. I love that.

55:22

Star something. And it's 708? Yeah.

55:24

It's on the tip of my it's right on the tip

55:26

of my tongue. It was awesome. There's

55:30

also, like, fat princess. Fat princess

55:32

E3 had before, that would be a good one. That

55:35

was a PSP lead game. I think, but it

55:37

was on PS3 also.

55:41

What's the what's the Housemark shooter?

55:43

I know everything about the game. I can picture

55:45

it and I even remember how the controls

55:47

work, but I can't And that

55:48

Like, then that wasn't four or PS four

55:50

for sure? Yeah. It was PS four

55:52

well, no. Not for sure because I don't trust my

55:54

brain to know E3. For sure E3.

55:57

It was like like a sphere. Right? Yeah. I

55:59

was on a E3. Exactly.

56:01

I maybe

56:02

that was a PS4 launch

56:04

game. The one with a bunch of pretty particle effects.

56:07

Yeah.

56:07

Yeah. That was a PS four launch game. I know it's

56:09

when you're talking about. Okay. That's

56:11

good. Okay. Sony published

56:13

though. Dude, there was a lot of

56:15

weird so what was

56:17

that? There was the Tokyo Zoo, the

56:19

animal game that E3 The other game had

56:21

developed, so we can just miss this. Right. I

56:24

including the one where

56:26

you're that very tiny person that's

56:29

a superhero that Corral's zombies

56:31

Yeah, dude. I I have a real soft

56:34

spot for those

56:34

games. Like, I feel like

56:35

XPLA gets all the attention, but there was

56:38

so much like esoteric stuff on

56:40

PSN too.

56:42

Yeah. I had that game. I like that game. The crawling

56:45

E3 game, man. I haven't thought about that in a long time.

56:49

Maybe I

56:50

don't know who made that, though. I know. Yeah.

56:52

Dude, nobody does. I

56:57

don't know how to I don't know where to go from

56:59

here. I don't either. Could

57:01

it be a racing or puzzle game?

57:06

That's E3. What was

57:08

it? So this is this was

57:11

the answer was

57:12

yes. This was the first set E3. Or

57:14

no. It was not. I already

57:15

don't. It just it's a one off. So

57:17

we we had to clarify. There's

57:20

no sequels to it.

57:25

Damon, have we named or alluded? don't I

57:27

don't remember my name. How many questions do we have left?

57:29

Three questions and a yes.

57:33

Is it worth asking again? Can we ask

57:35

the same question twice? Like,

57:38

now have we named or alluded to the

57:40

game? You could ask that. I'm down.

57:44

Okay. Have we have we either named

57:46

or alluded to this game now? No.

57:48

No. Oh my gosh. Great.

57:51

Cool.

57:56

Sony published downloadable

58:00

E3 game not made in Japan.

58:05

Dude. What

58:08

about little bit planet? And then, like,

58:10

cutaway, tearaway, E3 type

58:12

of games? It could be tearaway. It can't be a little big

58:14

planet because that was on a, you know, that was a physical

58:16

E3.

58:18

Tearway E3. Although, I think I was also

58:20

on I think

58:22

about that as a handheld game, mostly. And

58:24

then what about unfinished

58:25

Swan? That was a E3

58:27

four. That's a good one. Are you

58:29

sure? Yeah. I'm pretty sure. Three. I

58:31

don't know. That's got it. I think it's a multiplatform

58:33

because I definitely owned it on a PS four.

58:36

It was a free p s plus thing.

58:39

We made it. It was No.

58:41

What do you know? I don't remember. European.

58:44

I think I mean, it's I don't think it's Japanese is

58:47

what I'm saying. I'm not sure that

58:48

Well, E3 asked if it was Jeff oh, that game. No. I

58:50

don't think that game was. I'm

58:53

E3 one was really good.

58:55

Would you call well, I don't know how to say you

58:58

keep don't know how to narrowly say that you play

59:00

as a human. Is it oh, it's first person?

59:02

Yeah. Is this a first person

59:04

game? No. Okay.

59:08

One question. And again,

59:10

Do they wanna like, no.

59:13

Not art style. Listen, like, I'm like, I'm

59:15

I'm I'm trying to go I don't have the same memory

59:17

Palace Sam has. It's just to

59:19

mess up here. But, like, I

59:21

have, like, weird scattered memories

59:24

of playing some, like, smash TV clone

59:26

on the

59:28

on the on PSN.

59:29

Wasn't there like a like dead planet

59:32

or something, which was another like, it

59:34

was I think it's from the people who

59:35

made, like, bit trip runner and stuff like that

59:37

and it was, like, a weird Yeah.

59:38

There are, like, Sony Sonya wouldn't

59:40

have published it. There's, like, there's soundscapes

59:43

and there's all the there's the Pixel

59:45

junk games.

59:46

Yeah. Pixel junk does Sony publish this?

59:48

I I think

59:50

so. Well, actually, maybe not. Maybe those

59:52

are all on Xbox too.

59:54

I can't remember. Maybe it's sound it could be it

59:56

could be sound sound is it sound shapes

59:58

or sounds scary? It's the good

1:00:00

yeah. Sound shapes.

1:00:02

That's not bad.

1:00:02

And sound shape sound shape's

1:00:04

ruled. I I feel like it's It

1:00:07

was just this really weird it was sort

1:00:09

of little bit like rhythm heaven or like

1:00:11

just these it's hard to describe E3, but

1:00:14

just weird little rhythm minigame

1:00:16

moments. Met, like, we're very

1:00:18

artsy and interesting. And

1:00:21

I don't think it's

1:00:21

Japanese. Like, look around I think I

1:00:23

think SoundChapes is Japanese, so

1:00:27

Oh, I don't know. don't know.

1:00:30

I think that's the closest well, we still

1:00:32

got one more. E3 have

1:00:34

okay. Here's my here's my plan. We

1:00:36

have one question and guess. Mhmm. I

1:00:39

wanna ask the question if it's a pixel junk game.

1:00:41

And if not, then we'll guess sound shapes. And if it

1:00:43

is, then we have to guess pixel junk. Junk

1:00:45

game. I'm I'm down. Is it pixel junk? Is that

1:00:47

what it was? Is that I can't.

1:00:49

I've never played any of

1:00:50

those. It's like pixelated E3

1:00:53

junk shooter. Yeah. Then yeah. Yeah.

1:00:55

E3 is the only one I really remember well,

1:00:57

but there was no. There was monsters. There's

1:00:59

a pixel junk monsters.

1:01:02

Is this a pixel junk game? No.

1:01:05

Man. Is it sound shapes? No. It is

1:01:07

not that. No. This

1:01:10

game was an action game released on the PlayStation

1:01:12

Network in two thousand seven. Fazabi

1:01:15

game. Fazabi game. Fazabi game.

1:01:18

Fazabi game?

1:01:19

No. No complex.

1:01:20

No. It's called pain.

1:01:22

Oh, the one we had E3, dude.

1:01:24

Drag dog everywhere. Dude. How?

1:01:27

Yeah. Pain was really Yeah.

1:01:30

Wow. This is I didn't remember I

1:01:32

I owned and played a lot of pain, but I didn't

1:01:34

remember it was PSN

1:01:35

only.

1:01:36

Me neither. Is this is this a explosion

1:01:38

man

1:01:38

like? Well, no. No. explosion man is like

1:01:41

a platformer. You just launched it's like it sounded

1:01:43

like a burnout like. You launch your guy and cause

1:01:45

Or, like, go to Zoom again. Yeah. Yeah.

1:01:48

Okay. They don't ever E3 like this anymore.

1:01:51

Necessarily

1:01:52

E3 looks like a IGN office hit.

1:01:54

Yeah.

1:01:54

We like it. We like

1:01:56

it. And they the thing that I really remember about

1:01:58

pain is that this was the only level

1:02:00

in the game. That's how it launched. And that's actually

1:02:02

why so Greg will review it. He gave it even though

1:02:04

he had a blast, so that he gave it a six point eight

1:02:06

because this is all it was launched at one level and

1:02:08

one

1:02:08

guy, and that's it. And then they added more

1:02:11

stuff later, which

1:02:13

was unusual at the time. Did you update? It's

1:02:15

like -- Yeah. -- but this

1:02:16

is like an early PSN game and it was an early

1:02:18

hit for them. think this E3 sold really well.

1:02:20

And they E3 it on disc in Europe E3,

1:02:22

but not for us. And

1:02:24

then Oh, yeah. So a lot

1:02:26

of E3 jokes happening

1:02:28

in this. Yeah. And I don't real mature

1:02:30

video

1:02:30

games. I don't think it's available

1:02:32

anymore. I think it's gone the way of E3 Blade.

1:02:35

But by the end, they've added they've added characters

1:02:37

like Santa Claus, the editor in chief

1:02:39

of Fomitsu E3. They

1:02:41

added Jim to the game. They added

1:02:43

Elvira, Flavor Flav

1:02:45

-- Cool. -- George Teekay and David

1:02:47

Hassoff. Yeah. I

1:02:49

mean -- Great. -- what year did this come out? Two thousand seven. thousand

1:02:51

seven. That feels great.

1:02:52

Yeah. That is right. That all tracks. And

1:02:55

then,

1:02:55

Greg Miller. Greg Miller's review

1:02:57

of this game for IG and begins with it

1:03:00

was somewhere around the time, Game Scoop Zone, Damon

1:03:02

Hatfield, pulled back on the human slingshot, launched

1:03:05

Jarvis through the air, snagged grandmother by her

1:03:07

hair, dragged her down a staircase E3 to a subway,

1:03:09

slammed into an exploding crate that I realized how

1:03:11

much fun pain can be. Yeah.

1:03:15

Yeah. The game That was like it

1:03:17

had this one stage that was it, but

1:03:19

it was super super super dense and,

1:03:21

like, packed with, like, like, there was this little

1:03:23

teeny tiny way that you could get your character

1:03:25

down into the sub way. Mhmm. And then

1:03:27

there was, like, a whole subway you could bounce around in

1:03:29

and, like, explode in. That was pretty hard to

1:03:31

find. So it was full of

1:03:32

these, like, deep layered Easter eggs.

1:03:36

Well,

1:03:36

nice to meet you. Take that.

1:03:37

Nice

1:03:38

to meet E3. Try everyone. Thank you for the suggestion.

1:03:40

Andrew in Belfast, Ireland.

1:03:43

Viewers

1:03:43

listening.

1:03:43

We have

1:03:44

your own. Suggestions for any questions?

1:03:46

Hard boat, guys. That was

1:03:48

hard to get one. Although I'm not, like, I'm

1:03:50

not even like, usually, I'm all disappointed in

1:03:52

upset when we lose, but I feel like that

1:03:53

was, like, straight up Like, we got there. We

1:03:56

got close, but then, you know, and then

1:03:58

an an honest lie. Two thousand

1:03:59

seven feels so long ago

1:04:01

when I see that. Like,

1:04:03

wow. That feels very different

1:04:05

than what I thought. A E3 three felt

1:04:07

like. Sure enough.

1:04:09

Yeah. It's like you know, I'm never trying to

1:04:11

pick something so I'm sure you wouldn't pick it.

1:04:14

That's a game that think people would

1:04:16

remember if they were reminded of

1:04:18

it, but don't think about it very often. That's what

1:04:20

I think. Yeah.

1:04:20

I don't know how I missed it. Like, that was square

1:04:22

and when I was, like, freelancing for IGN

1:04:25

coverings. Yeah. mean, I had an Xbox only

1:04:27

for a little

1:04:28

while, so maybe that's live. Man, same

1:04:30

here. I've played all the other games we talked about here,

1:04:32

you know. Like, you weren't working in E3

1:04:34

that zombie one with a little

1:04:35

guy. Oh, yeah. Great. That's called The Last

1:04:38

Guy. Right? I was thinking of

1:04:40

The Last Guy. It's the game I was thinking

1:04:42

of. Yeah. And then Justin's trying to think of super

1:04:44

stardust E3. But then you

1:04:46

guys completed that with the PS4

1:04:48

launch one, which now I can't

1:04:50

I can't remember the name of that was with the the

1:04:52

box

1:04:53

Yeah. Yeah. E3

1:04:54

Yeah. That's the defender line. Yeah. It starts with

1:04:56

an r. I know that. That's so good. That's so

1:04:58

good. There it is. They

1:05:01

the, you know, Samuel E3. I'm on the

1:05:03

pain, E3. Two of the DLC stages

1:05:06

were Mooreningwood High School. And

1:05:11

area sixty nine, and one

1:05:13

that I I don't even wanna read off the name

1:05:15

of. Oh, so

1:05:16

real mature video games. So

1:05:18

that was So came again. It was developed by Idle

1:05:20

Hands, which now is Deck nine, and

1:05:22

now they make what spin offs

1:05:24

of life is strange, and they're doing
