His first book, Pitch Perfect, inspired the hit film series about a cappella singing. He is also the author of Theater Geek, It's Not a Bed, It's a Time Machine, and more. And now Mickey is on the shortlist for the Oscar for Best Live Action Short for his new film 'The Anne Frank Gift Shop'.
